Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

So beautifully decorated, it was a lovely surprise.Our hostesses were exceptionally helpful in giving us information about the neighbourhood,buses, taxis etc. In fact they went over and above with train info and getting us a taxi for an early morning train.. Thanks again!!

AustraliaNothing. Was all excellent! Bit of a steep walk up to main town street, but didn’t worry us too much. Close supermarket and bakery.
We loved La Casa from the moment we arrived! Antonella was amazing and so welcoming! The effort she went to with the Christmas decorations was unexpected and so thoughtful! Every detail was provided for. A large, spacious, beautifully appointed apartment which was even better than we were hoping for! Spotlessly clean, lots of room, lovely bedding, bright sunny kitchen, warm and cosy even in winter.

AustraliaOn 11th floor if u don't like heights but there is a lift. 2nd bathroom has bath with hand held shower. No shower screens Busy times could be difficult to find street parking.
Location and Free Parking on Street. Walking distance up roads and stairs to old city and restaurants. We walked to Valley of the Temples but caught bus back to old city. Not too far from central train station. Supermarket just around the corner. Very easy to drive out of town heading to Trapani. Host very helpful.

CanadaThe location is a bit challenging if one wishes to walk to old city centre. It is quite a way downhill. However, it is in a friendly neighborhood.

AustriaThe appartement was really big, clean, with two bathrooms, and it is well furnished. I can imagine it must be even better in summer when it is hot, we were end of February and there is only one A/C capable of heating, so it was really cold for continental standards. The landlords are professionals but they responded to my English text with Italian, and even after we booked and paid they wanted documents first, then they gave us an incomplete address, so actually it took my four communications to establish everything. To enter and collect keys was somewhat of an adventure, but manageable. The place, however, is really nice and clean and city centre is well within walking distance, and parking could be found on the street below. Maybe it was end of February and while the sights, temples and Turkish steps, were truly incredible. one has the sense of decay of the town,, practically any real estate is for sale and I had an unsafe feeling on the streets in the evening.
