Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesIt was close to everything, beautifully decorated. Old historic building but all new inside with old parquet, marble fireplace piece, and ceiling. The entire property used to be a huge apartment Franz Liszt occupied back in 19th century so everything is decorated accordingly. Beds were comfortable, beautiful bathtub. Wonderful hosts. We loved our stay there. A very famous trattoria where they serve truffle tagliatelle made in a cheese wheel is next door - more chance to catch 10 min with no line to get in.

United StatesA safe in the room would be a nice addition but we didn't have any major concerns
The hotel was close to the main train station. Also close to the major attractions. Self check-in was easy and well explained. We liked the room and decor which felt luxurious. The patio was also a nice place to lounge. The host was also very nice. You should not be disappointed if you decide to stay here.

We had a wonderful stay. We stayed three nights in a very stylish room, in a comfortable bed. The hotel is a miracle in terms of price-quality. The room and bathroom were large. We were very pleased and will stay here again when we return. We couldn't expect more from a hotel; everything was perfect. I recommend it to everyone.

IndiaThere are no lift here and thank God if you're on the 1st floor as all your luggage is on your shoulders 😉 Also the bathroom has no vent and is more like a sauna than restroom
The room was special and the location too... Very romantic space and for couples would be best as with family, the privacy may be a bit concern 😊 The location is perfect and very close to central station so walk with your luggage 🧳 rather.

United StatesI would have liked the AC to be a few degrees cooler in the summer. AC is preset so you can’t adjust the cooling. Also no vents in the bathroom so it was a little hot.
Location, room size, super high ceilings and cleaning staff were excellent.

ThailandThe room was not soundproof so you can hear noises from the street or the room next door. However, it did not bother us that much. Our TV brokedown on the last day of our stay but we didn't watch it much any way and the staff had been very helpful to try to sort things out.
The room was spacious and clean. The staff were very kind and attentive to our needs. The location was just perfect for both travelling and exploring the city as it is closed to everything.

AlbaniaEverything was just perfect !
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at La Casa di Liszt – Luxury Suites. From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The location is simply perfect—right in the heart of Florence, just a 5-minute walk from the train station and within easy reach of all the city’s iconic landmarks, museums, and charming piazzas. The suite itself was stunning—elegantly decorated with a blend of classic charm and modern comfort. It was spacious, immaculately clean, and equipped with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. I especially appreciated the comfortable bed, luxurious linens, and the attention to detail in every corner of the room. One of my favorite moments was enjoying my morning coffee on the balcony, taking in the peaceful atmosphere and the beauty of the green—it was the perfect way to start each day. The staff were incredibly kind, professional, and attentive, always ready to help with recommendations or anything I needed. Their warm hospitality truly made me feel at home. Another highlight was the vibrant neighborhood, surrounded by fantastic restaurants, cozy cafes, and stylish boutiques, which added even more charm to the experience. Just to the next door of entrance u will find the "Osteria la Pastella" the best in town for its homemade pasta. Be aware to book in prior because u will not find easily the table. And in front of the La Casa di Liszt you will find the famous "Officina-Profumo Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella S.p.A" worth to visit and entrance is free. Overall, my stay was a perfect blend of comfort, elegance, and authentic Florentine atmosphere. I highly recommend La Casa di Liszt to anyone visiting Florence—whether for a romantic getaway, cultural trip, or relaxing break. I’m already looking forward to returning!

United StatesSince it is new, they are still working out some tweaks, and the customer service agent did not know enough about the property to assist me. I think they are going to work on that though! Keep in mind that since this is an apartment, there is no safe for belongings, and there is no way to deadbolt the door as of now.
This place is gorgeous and very convenient to the train station in central Florence. The rooms are spacious and having access to a kitchen and huge balcony are big bonuses! The beds are comfortable and everything was clean and lovely! It was surprisingly quiet despite being right in the city. It was lovely to wake up to the soft chirping of birds.

TaiwanThis is my first time writing a review for an accommodation, and I’m already a Level 3 Genius member on Booking.com. To begin with the conclusion: If you are considering booking the room with the fireplace, I strongly advise against it. The room has a strong burnt charcoal smell (possibly from a past fire incident), no one ever answers the property’s phone, and once you express dissatisfaction, the host will stop replying to you via WhatsApp. We arrived in Florence full of excitement, ready to check in at Luxury Suite, a highly-rated property near the train station. It was also our first time booking a guesthouse through Booking.com. We are a family traveling together and booked two suites — a triple room (Liszt) and a quad room (Maria) — for three nights. Together, the two rooms cost €1,500 per night. The price wasn’t cheap, but the photos certainly gave a sense of “luxury.” Unfortunately, this turned out to be the worst accommodation experience of my life. ⸻ The Triple Room: Liszt The Liszt room appeared to be a converted living room with an old, used fireplace on the wall. While the décor looked pleasant and stylish, the air was filled with a heavy burnt charcoal smell — similar to a barbecue or even a room that once caught fire. The smell was so pervasive it came out from the air conditioner as well. The other room, Maria, didn’t have this problem and smelled fresh. My child has asthma and told me he couldn’t breathe in the room. We immediately contacted the property’s online manager around 6:37 PM — we had only been in the room for about half an hour. We requested to change rooms, as this situation could be life-threatening for our child. The property manager initially responded that there were no other rooms available but assured us they took the issue seriously and would send someone over later to inspect. So, we went out for dinner while waiting for their response.

TurkeyThere is a shared space for all rooms, also a terrace. Our room had a terrace window. Thats why all window doors was closed all the time since there was no shader. Also other guests make too much noise in the mornings while we are staying. There should be at least a sign to keep the voice down during a time gap. All these aside, our door room was able to open just by pushing it while there was passcode to open it normally. Someone pushed the door open while we were inside when there was do not disturb sign. (Just by pushing it, without any code)
It was very clean and well designed with all new furniture. Room has very comfortable. Property is located very close to train station and some other attractions.
