The parking in a multi level parking structure was difficult, though inexpensive, with a larger SUV.

I visited the accommodation with my family for a vacation! It is a beautiful house, spacious, with perfect aesthetics, clean and fully equipped! Very close to the center of Como! We had a wonderful time! I highly recommend it! If we are in Como again, we will definitely choose the same accommodation! Thank you for the beautiful stay!

The flat is close to a main road that is constantly full of cars at most times of the day. This may not bother some people but we thought the pollution was pretty bad, although the rest of Italy isn’t much better to be fair! I would add this wouldn’t stop us staying again but it’s the only negative I can think of.

Flat was very clean, felt homely with nice decorations and host was very helpful and left some supplies. There’s a great coffee shop literally right next to the flat on the corner with excellent coffee and pastries. AC is very good, we had it on a low quiet setting during the night and slept fine.

The property was fantastic, very clean and decorated beautifully. It had everything you would need,there was tea , coffee and some little snacks in a basket which made it feel very welcoming there was also a bottle of fizz in the fridge. The kitchen was fully equipped even had some washing up liquid and tea towels . Everything is new and very modern but it also has a really lovely feel. The outside patio is a massive bonus for you to sit and have your morning coffee. The location is great just a short walk over the road to all the shops and restaurants, leading to the lake . Communication with the host was great, also let us check in early which was massively appreciated after a 7 o’clock flight.

I recommend these apartments to anyone seeking comfort and warmth during their vacation. The apartments were impeccably clean - every detail sparkled with cleanliness. It was a pleasant surprise to find drinks prepared in the fridge upon our arrival, which was an especially welcoming gesture. I also want to highlight the host, who was very attentive to our needs and ensured that our stay was unforgettable. Thank you for the wonderful and caring service! Very beautiful apartment, renovated, clean, quiet! Close to the city center and the lake (7 minutes walk maximum). The owner Gio is a very friendly person, he cares about the well-being of his guests and remains available for any questions or recommendations. Small attentions upon our arrival, very much appreciated. I highly recommend this establishment and would not hesitate to come back for a future trip to Como !

The apartment itself was excellent - everything apparently nearly new including renovated building. But gaining access was an UNMITIGATED DISASTER. We were to receive a code to open a key-safe (method unstated) but none came. In continuous rain, we tried to contact somebody for TWO HOURS. Workmen working nearby for the owner tried to help, but to no avail. After TWO HOURS in the rain (my wife in tears), occupiers of the adjacent apartment spotted our predicament from their balcony and somehow indirectly contacted the owner, apparently out of the country. It is a daft arrangement to rely on a third party (Booking.com?) to provide the essential code, without providing access to the owner. That's not all. The day before we left, another couple arrived expecting to have the apartment. It had been double-booked with an overlapping day. They tried to get Booking.com to book and pay for a night in a hotel, but apparently were refused. What these poor people eventually did is unknown. Furthermore, this couple would also have been unable to access (arriving on their booked day) because they too had received no key-safe code. Further. There is an unmentioned "key hazard" on leaving the apartment for the last time. Renters are instructed to leave the two keys inside the apartment. If you did that and closed the door behind you, then you would be unable to open the heavy steel street door - and would end up trapped between the now-locked apartment and the unscalable street door. Another arrangement is needed. Otherwise it will happen to someone. No form of apology or compensation has been received. Don't use Booking.com for any complicated arrangement - they don't care.

The real pleasure of staying at Casa di Gio was not only the location and beauty of Como, I cannot speak to how nice it was to have a washing machine during the middle of our vacation. We were able to pack less cloths and it was such a relief after a long trip. If you are ever in Como, this spot is a great choice close to the Como Lago station, as well as a coffee shop and small grocery store. What a great find. Thank you Gio and we nope to return soon.
