I’ve stayed in countless hostels across so many countries, but this one truly stands out. It felt like a cozy cottage hidden in the woods. The dorm was spotless and comfortable, the staff were incredibly warm, and the breakfast was just perfect. The only downside? I had to leave at 6 in the morning to catch my train. Honestly, if they’d let me, I could have happily lived there.

Everything was perfect! We had the best time! You have to go there if you are in the via degli dei! It’s so cozy, clean and the breakfast is awesome! Also the dinner is sooo good! 100% recommended!

Lovely B&B with great rooms & bathrooms. Only slight issue is that it’s a further 6km hike from Madonna Dei Fornelli if you’re hiking there as part of La Via Degli Dei. It involves going up a tough, steep section to get to the B&B. Amazing 3 course dinner (at 15 Euros) and fantastic free breakfast the next morning! Only stay here if you have the energy to walk further on as this stage/day is already very tough!

Perfect location in the middle of nature for a perfect relaxation on the via degli dei. The owners are extremely welcoming and helpful, offering excellent dinner, breakfast, and even sandwiches to take along with you on the next day. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the bathrooms are sparkling clean.

Very nice stay in the middle of a forest, so it is not too hot at night! Breakfast is included and some beverages for the evenings are available. Nice rooms and very clean bathroom facilities!

The owners are extremely kind. The dorms and bathrooms were very clean and comfortable. The accommodation is in the middle of a beautiful forest on the Via Degli Dei. The food was delicious and reasonable priced, especially for the portion sizes. There's packed lunch available to order which is great!! Breakfast was delicious with scrambled eggs and yoghurt with granola. Yummy!!!

If you are walking the Via degli Dei or looking for a peaceful place to stay close to nature, don't look any further. We (a couple in their early 30s) stayed at the Refugio for one night in a 4-bed dorm room. These were the first bunk beds in a long time, where you couldn't actually feel it all moving when the other person moved a finger! They were super comfortable too, and if you are not hauling your sleeping bag around, it is possible to ask for bedsheets as well. The bathrooms looked like they were recently renovated and were super clean. The dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious and plentiful and provided the opportunity to connect with the other hikers. Wifi is available at the property but be prepared for spotty phone coverage (or maybe it was just our provider).

Bring house shoes, the floors are very cold and can get wet in the bathroom.

The hosts were incredible and so kind. The location was beautiful and the room clean as well as the bathroom. The food was amazing and I would rate the whole experience as a 10 out of 10. Me and my friends were doing the via degli dei and we fully recommend this as one of your stops on the way!

Excellent refuge and perfect location of you are doing the path of the gods hike. Extremely clean for a refuge, excellent beds and comfortable rooms. Dinner is well priced and there's a lot of variety at breakfast.

Breakfast may needed more brown bread. The shower may needed a anti-slip mat, it was too slippy. But yeah the rest was great :)

This hostel is simpel yet elegant. Nice bed, good vibes, nice location, nice bathroom. Nice routes to hike. Dinner was great. A free water source to tap clean water!
