Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SwedenEverything was wonderful!
This is a hidden gem. Very close to the train station in Meta 5-7 minutes walk. From the outside it doesn't look fancy but when you enter the gates you are greeted by a lush oasis. The rooms are located in the garden, quiet and peaceful. The rooms themselves were perfect; clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. The place only had two rooms making it a very exclusive experience. The host is very kind and service-minded. In the mornings the host brought us breakfast on a tray. Coffee, melon, figs from her own garden and freshly baked Cornetto with our choice of filling. We had our breakfast in the serene patio, but could also be served inside if we would have preferred that. Our host went above and beyond with attentiveness and by personalizing our stay. Giving us a ride to Sorrento one morning when she was going there anyway. After my fiancée told her how much she loves figs, the coming breakfasts the fig plate was overflowing with them. The first evening we were drying our towels on the patio chairs, suddenly a drying rack had been provided for us which we were able to use for the rest of our stay. Do not hesitate to book this BnB! We were so well taken care of, it felt more like visiting family rather than a typical hotel stay. The host made our visit in Meta magical. If we visit the area again we will undoubtedly book the same place

PolandAmazing property manager who gave valuable tips for exploring the area (places to see, bus departure times etc.). Exceptional breakfast with fruits freshly collected from the garden and freshly baked croissants with filling of choice. The room was clean and well equipped, water and snacks free of charge. The owner/manager even made us great coffee several times.

Lovely, peaceful place in a beautiful garden, just 5 min walk from train station at the Sorrento-Naples line. Wonderful host, very kind and helpful. Small town off the main tourist tracks of the Amalfi Coast, but with 10 min direct access to Sorrento center and <15 min walk to Meta beach, restaurants and Deco/local food stores. Room lovely and spaceous, newly decorated in peaceful white/beige, nice shower, fridge, table+2 chairs, an outdoor sitting area - all you need and more. Will return!

CanadaWe loved both our hostess and the property!
Everything! Wonderful accommodations! Marina is so, so kind and helpful. Absolutely beautiful 18th century Villa yet updated to a thoroughly modern one complete with a gorgeous lush garden! Loved staying in Meta away from the hustle bustle of Sorrento yet still 5 minute walk to the train station and just 3 train stops from the center of Sorrento. Great restaurants and beautiful beach in Meta. Came to La Casa De Camilla as clients left as friends/ family. Marina took care of our every need up to and including fresh squeezed orange juice, fabulous espressos and cappuccinos, lovely breakfasts with fresh fruit straight from her garden, beautiful linens and towels and cough medicine when I needed it. Quiet street close to all amenities, markets, pharmacy, wine store, coffee shop, convenience shops. She provided drying racks, beach towels, and gave us a ride with all our luggage to the bus stop. Great location to explore Sorrenyo, Capri and Pompeii. Marina. Was a wealth of knowledge and advice on all aspects of our travel there. Highly recommend!

GermanyThis is a wonderful apartment with a beautiful courtyard and garden + a very convenient location: close to the train/ bus station and not far from the breathtaking Meta beach. You can find plenty of restaurants and 2 Pasticcerias ( pastry shops) in the vicinity. The owner was practically amazing. Very helpful and welcoming, she took good care of us and gave us all necessary tips. If you want to avoid the crowds of Sorrento, observe the local life, enjoy the beautiful beach and still be well-connected, this is a place for you. We are grateful for our truly wonderful holiday experience. Grazie Marina😊

United StatesUncertainty of location on arrival, but call to host was quickly answered and door opened.
The hostess, Marina, went above and beyond to assure that we were happy with our accommodations and the surrounding area. Breakfast of fresh fruits (some from the garden), pastries and espressos served every morning. Advice on things to see and do. Property is a very easy walk from train station and is well positioned for travel into Sorrento, Pompeii and Naples. Will happily stay again if given the opportunity to return to Sorrento area!

LatviaWe had a great stay at La Casa delle Camelie! The room was very clean and comfortable, and the location is perfect—just a short walk from the train station in Meta, making it easy to explore the Amalfi Coast. Our host Marina was wonderful! She welcomed us warmly and explained everything clearly—where to buy bus tickets, how to get around, and even recommended a fantastic local restaurant, Tico Tico, which we really enjoyed. Breakfast was Italian-style with espresso, fresh fruit, and a croissant—very typical and tasty, although a bit different from the breakfasts we're used to with cheese, sausage, and eggs. Still, it was a lovely way to start the day. Overall, a great experience—cozy, clean, and helpful hospitality.
