Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

Spotless clean, very cozy and spacious. Got there very late after a delayed flight and were greeted with a smile. The kids loved to discover chickens and turtles in the morning at the beautiful garden.

Nothing- we were so happy we chose this place.
I can't say enough good things about this place. It's close proximity to the airport about 15 min drive, and after a late flight it was nice to arrive somewhere close. The owners greeted us when we arrived and were so welcoming and kind. The rooms and space were so clean and they had fresh towels for all the guests. The space had everything we could need to get a nice sleep - Every room had a fan available. They provided a breakfast in the morning of yogurt, pastries, cereal and coffee/tee. We enjoyed drinking coffee in the beautiful garden space in the morning while my youngest followed their two small turtles in the grass. When we had questions, the owners were helpful and responsive. We are native English speakers, and google translate helped seamlessly. We highly recommend staying here and would happily come back. It was the perfect start to our vacation.

The property fit our needs perfectly. It’s close to the airport in a quaint neighborhood.
Amazing 2-bedroom apartment on the ground floor. The hosts were super friendly and helpful. They even called a local restaurant to ask if we could get dinner shortly before the restaurant closed. Limited English, but the hosts were well-versed in using Google Translate to make communication possible. The apartment was well-furnished and included all the dishes and appliances one could need. Quite large living area and kitchen. Definitely would go back! Just 15 minutes to Malpensa Airport.

The host and hostess were so friendly and helpful! They went above and beyond to meet our needs, including helping us find some dinner, providing us with some light breakfast items, and helping us book a taxi van to get our group to the airport the morning we left. The place was clean and cute, with comfortable beds and fans in each bedroom. The garden area was also lovely!

We had a wonderful one night stay in La casa dei nonni. Location close to Malpensa AirPort was perfect for us. Lovely village, our host guided us to a local restaurant less than 1 km away. The house was absolutely spotless! Water, snacks and breakfast items were a nice surprise. I warmly recommend.

Coffee, pastries and yogurt was provided for breakfast, hosts met us when we arrived late from our flight and were very welcoming and helpful. Met us at checkout and we were shown great Italian hospitality!!!

On Tuesday it seems like most of the places are closed. Car needed to find a place to eat. Not the owners fault, but the county responsibility. Owners actually are very handy and may help if asked!
Very close to the airport and to the train station. It is very practical to reach Milan downtown in approx. half an hour. The garden is wonderful and the chickens are a very nice and genuine attraction for kids and any age really.

Great place to stay, close to the airport and wonderfully hosted. The apartment is spacious with all that you might need plus a wonderful garden to relax in. If you need a place to spend the night before heading to the airport don't hesitate this is the place.

Home is excellent and had everything we required! The whole place was clean and made us feel at home and the beds were also extremely comfortable. The hosts were lovely people as well and made sure to answer all our questions and give us anything we needed. Will definitely be staying here again!
