Take care using the shower - it’s a large step up and easy to flood the floor if the door opens while in use. Great pressure though!!

We made a late booking at La Bugia Del Sensale after a long, hot day driving through the region on our motorbike. Elisa was lovely and looked after us, sending all the information through straight away. We were able to park out the front and check ourselves in easily. The room was comfortable and clean. It’s a good base to explore the Chianti region from. San Donato is a tiny town in itself, but there are a couple of nearby food and drink options. We found a pizzeria 5 mins away that is staffed by volunteers and raises funds for the local soccor team. Simple but tasty.

-The bathroom itself is a bit small, shower is good size but the toilet and bidet are small and tightly fit -curtains were missing, seemed like the bar was broken but not replaced -parking situation was a bit unclear. The host told us we could park beside the church. However, there were signs saying it's private property and an old women approached us saying we can't park there. The hoat insured us, it's OK. The situation felt a bit unclear though.

We stayed in the triple room. -Room was very big -Newly renovated and clean -comfortable bed -Big shared space on the first floor and shared dining table on the top floor with a well-equipped kitchen -great price/value for the area -the house is located beside a road, but the window of our room faced the back of the building, therefore it was quiet -Supermarket very close by, lots of nice places to visit in the area (by car)

The shower was really small and difficult to use without getting everything wet

The owner speaks English super well You have a code on de door so you can check in late. It is close to the small city and big shop with food The room had everything I needed and nice view

I was very happy with my stay at this place. Very cozy, clean, and with a comfortable bed. I slept very well here (usually it's hard for me to sleep in a new place, but here it was perfect). It’s very quiet around. I liked everything. The hostess was super friendly and was always in touch if anything was needed. Thanks to this place

Any towel hook in the bathroom would be handy.

Very nice room with an access to fully equipped common kitchen. Really comfortable beds. We had a very nice stay. Grazie mille!

Little equipped kitchen, messy neighbours - staff doesn't stay in the house so the dirty dishes stayed there overnight. The terrace is opened to main road from one side - less private.

The atmosphere of the house was so toscanish ❤️ The interiors were beautiful. Comfortable equipment. Fresh water in the room.

Everything was perfect!

Highly recommended! The apartment was very clean and tidy, and we felt very safe. They are in a very beautiful location and everything has been thought of, there is a kitchen and a lounge area both indoors and outdoors. Parking is available nearby. There is a town nearby with accessible restaurants. A very beautiful interior!

Minor detail, but the bathroom in the smallest room would need some hangers and shelves to make it more practical.

Nice and finely decorated house, conveniently located to explore Chianti, to get to Siena and Florence. The host was extremely friendly and professional. Excellent value for money.

Landlady was so nice and kind! Comunication was super quick and easy with her. The accomodation was clean and had everything we needed. You can also use the kitchen! And the view was spectacular, loved it!

The bathroom was nice but the very slippery shower at the top of two steps felt a bit scary. I can image that this wil be a challenge for some people to shower here.

Very nice apartment in a beautiful area. Good facilities, including a full kitchen, living room and outdoor sitting area. The room was nice and clean with a comfortable bed.

Decorated woth taste, a fine blend of modern and traditional. The room is very confortable, and the access to common area is a real plus when you're travelling around Toscany. The communication with the host is good, she take good care of your need during your stay ! I recommand this expérience 100%

This place had the most comfortable and cosy bed ever, my mom is now even thinking about buying a matress like this for home. Also she loved the pillows (and she usually travels a lot and with her own pillow) The room is decorated so nice with so many little details, and the room is also very spacious. The communication with elisa worked super, very flexible for check in and always answered all our requests immediately. The shower was great with nice water pressure, parking easy and close, and there was an amazing restaurant just a few minutes away of the apartment on the top. If i will be back to this region i would definitely be happy to stay at la bugia del sensale again!!

The room we stayed at had the window right to the street with the traffic light, meaning unless the curtains were pulled there's not much privacy from the road and the light flashes to your room 24/7.

The place is so beautifully decorated, clean, and the apartment really well located. It was truly such a pleasure even when the days were rainy.

Nothing much to be honest, we have been there just to sleep so we didn't have much time to look around

Amazing modern house, clean and very quiet place. I couldn't meet the hots but she tried to help as much as she could, they have a warm floor that was so nice to walk on even at night time and a nice size TV for the room with Netflix on it that for us was a plus as we were walking all day long and it was nice to have something to watch, specially for my partner that doesn't speak Italian

The towels were quite tiny - but maybe people usually bring their own?
