How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Great location. We were only here for one night however we were very comfortable and could easily have stayed longer. Tirano is a nice place to visit.

It didn’t have air conditioning, but the most important thing is that it was incredibly hard to get in. I got so many emails. I didn’t know what to do with them all and at the end of the day I could not find the instructions. The mandatory Vicki app is too much. Having someone greet you at the door is 1000 times better. Also in the halls there’s a strange smell. Inside the apartment at first, there’s a smell, but after you open the windows and run the fans it goes away. I do wish they would’ve offered hair conditioner
The apartment was very nice. It was well decorated. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom 10 out of 10.

They should inform that there is no lift to reach the apartment... we were with 2 kids and some stroller... it was not easy to take it up the stars.

2 flights of stairs with luggage and children was a little difficult but manageable .
Clean. Easy walk from the station. Spacious. The host was amazing. We stayed for just 1 night and we were very comfortable. The host had left us water and coffee which was very kind. And he was very communicative with clear instructions for check in and check out.

We had a great stay at this apartment in Tirano! The location is excellent—just a short walk to the Bernina station and very central, with easy access to everything we needed. The apartment was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped. The host was incredibly helpful and welcoming, making our stay smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone planning to take the Bernina Express or explore the area!

Everything was perfectly fine. The host is very, very helpful. A minor inconvenience – the windows of one of the bedrooms and the living room face the street, which might cause some slight noise disturbance for some people.

Can’t fault anything. The property was as explained and for the price it was great.
It was a great stop gap for us to get the Bernina express. Me are a family of four and it had everything we needed. It was clean, comfortable and the location was great. Thanks to the host who also gave us recommendations to the best pizza and patisserie in town. We wish we had 2 nights rather than one. Tirano is a very laid back place and sitting early in the morning with espresso and pasties was a perfect start to our day before boarding the bernina express. Thanks

little bit colder during night time (for my friends), could not warm up the battery (already was in max) and may be the stairs))), for luggages ☺️, but it is not a big problem
Very good location, 5 min from the station, with amazing balcony to the street. Clean, all stuff we need kept at the apartment, cozy comfortable apartment. Wish come back and stay longer
