The hotel felt cold and uninviting from the moment we arrived. The room decor was very dated. Breakfast was very poor - no fresh produce - all boxes and packets left on a table in the restaurant!! We had just completed a 6 week road trip of Italy and this was the only hotel that disappointed us!

Hotel was empty and I asked for a free upgrade for my daughter’s 10 yrs old and they would not accommodate without an extra cost which I found disappointing

We really enjoyed our stay overall. The location of the hotel is excellent – very peaceful and surrounded by beautiful nature, with a stunning lake nearby. The rooms were clean and tidy, everything was in good condition and nothing was broken, which made the stay pleasant and comfortable.

However, there were a few things that could be improved. First, the music played during dinner at the restaurant felt very inappropriate for the atmosphere – something more relaxing and in tune with the setting would be much better. Second, our room had a disappointing view – it looked straight onto a rooftop with pipes. It would have been nice if we had been offered an upgrade at check-in or if the staff had placed us in a room with a better view, especially if other rooms were available. Lastly, while the staff at the reception were friendly and helpful, the service at the restaurant left us with the impression that the staff couldn’t wait for us to leave. Smiles were there, but the attitude felt a bit distant. All in all, the place has great potential thanks to its location and nature, and we hope to see improvements in hospitality and guest experience in the future.

Location! Location! The staff here treats you like family. You will compare every kitchen to this one while visiting Italy. Sincerely, the best scrambled eggs I’ve ever eaten.

Upgrade the mattresses to memory foam and this place would be perfect👌for us.

A clean and comfortable hotel on a lake. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The on-location restaurant looked great but was closed the night we stayed there. The breakfast was simple but delicious. Our stay was in the off season to visit the Palazzo Farnese, Great value for money.

Everything! Beautiful hotel, excellent staff! Absolutely the best. They were able to upgrade us to a wonderful room overlooking the lake, at no charge! We had a delicious steak dinner at their restaurant 😋 Thank you!

Staff went out of their way to help us. The restaurant is outstanding. Food especially the aged steak, is excellent.

The room is on the small side and there could be more places to hang the towels etc.
