Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

EstoniaEverything was superb! Our host Maria was incredibly friendly and helpful. We arrived late so we got keys from keybox but she came to greet us in the morning. Gorgeous house with lots of space! Beautiful dining area and balconies with amazing view over the lake. We loved absolutely everything and can’t wait to come back one day! Thank you!

AustraliaNothing! If we didn’t have a car it would be difficult to get around
We LOVED our stay. Our host Maria was insanely incredible!!!!! She booked us restaurants, boat excursions, recommended breakfast restaurants and felt like a friend. The accommodation was amazing and so spacious. Aircon was perfect, washing machine so good and the view was out of this world. Private parking was in a large under-covered area, building safe and neighbourhood was so quaint. It was the perfect place for us to have some downtime. We used a car to get us to Tremezzo/ Lenno for day trips. We walked once at night to explore however I would highly recommend a car as the hill is very steep. Tuesdays are the local market in Lenno- highly recommended. The gelato in Lenno also recommended. If you stay here, get Maria to book a table at La Tirlindana for the lemon mascarpone ravioli- it was to die for! Cute park next to the restaurant with toilets Available

South KoreaWe liked everything!
The view was absolutely amazing. The location is great, but the view with the balcony upstairs is somewhere you want to spend hours and hours each day. The host was attentive, nice and went out of her way to ensure we had a wonderful time.

United StatesEverything was great. The house is perched on a hill just above the small town, so if you do venture out by foot (as we did) you'll have to climb back up at the end of your outing. We love to walk, so it was just a bit of exercise, and we looked forward to hoping in the pool to cool off as soon as we arrived at the house.
We LOVED the view from both terraces. It was stunning--we enjoyed breakfast on the lower terrace (attached to the main living area) and then took our evening drinks and dinner on the upper terrace to enjoy the sunset. In addition to the lake views, our host, Maria was unbelievably responsive. She helped arrange dinner reservations and helped us bring in dinner one night so we could just enjoy the view from the terrace. When we woke up to a small ant infestation, she was there within an hour to solve the problem. The apartment was well stocked and had a nice layout and was even more beautiful than the photos. The big terrace doors let in lots of natural light. The bathrooms were both modern and spacious. We also enjoyed the pool, even though it was very cold in April...we looked forward to jumping in after a day of sightseeing and walking around. We parked our car in the private space and didn't move it during our 3 night stay, instead we elected to walk everywhere. It took us about 25 minutes to walk to the nearest ferry station. We also walked nearly 10 miles on the Lake Como Greenway, which you can easily access from the house. The setting of the house is very peaceful and quiet in a residential neighborhood that isn't touristy at all.

MaltaThe stairs to get to the living/kitchen area on first floor was a bit of a downside on arrival/departure since we had heavy luggage but it didn't effect our stay overall.
The house is very nicely done, well equipped, clean and has gorgeous views of the lake and mountains from the living area and from the bedroom upstairs. It's in a quite location and only a few minutes from the lake. Having a garage and parking space was definitely a plus. The property manager Maria was really nice and helpful throughout our stay and provided us with a lot of useful information such as points of interest, restaurants and supermarkets around the area. She was very communicative and always available whenever we had questions.
