Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomMinute bath towels, good for toddlers but not adults. Terrace is not designed for residents but is a bar in evenings, no cushions available during day. Foreign guests need to be warned about road closures ZTL. Noisy outside at weekends but apartment is well sound insulated.

United StatesIt is difficult to find something not to like. Beautiful rooms with an amazing view of the port. Dog friendly too.
The accommodations and location of La Banchina is what keeps us coming back again and again. With the added convenience of the new terrace on the roof, it is a wonderful spot for an aperitivo with only steps to your room down stairs.

United StatesNothing to say, just a great stay. Our one suggestion would be that it is not so easy to find the entrance, so better instructions on their Booking,com entry would be useful. In fact, there restaurant is really easy to find, so that could be the guiding point for finding the front door.
This brand new facility was perfect for us. It is an all-suite hotel, so has a nice sitting and dining area as well as the bedroom. Every detail has been carefully thought out, the lighting is excellent, the bathroom beautiful and functional, and the bed comfortable. We were extremely happy to be in such a beautiful space. The room also overlooked the harbour in Trani, which is a great. We were welcomed very warmly, and enjoyed two fabulous meals at the adjacent restaurant which is owned by the same couple. (The restaurant is well-established for 25 years, but the hotel has literally just opened, and we were the first guests in our suite.) Like many such places in Italy, it is just accommodation, not a B&B, but good coffee and pastries were just around the corner. The building itself is old and lots of original stone still around, but inside the suite it is very new and up to date. Highly recommend this as a place to stay in Trani right at the centre of everything.

NetherlandsIt is a very lively area with lots of restaurants, so unfortunately that night there was a party at a nearby restaurant that kept us awake until 2 am. Part of the breakfast is already in the fridge, in the morning there is a box with some fresh pastries at the front door. All in all very simple, was expecting a bit more.
The apartment is located right on the harbour with a nice view of it from the bedroom. Nice decorated and nice furniture including a couch. The "owner" is very nice and helpful. Didn't realise check in was at 4 pm so we were too early but it was ok. Parking on the street right in front f the hotel.

Germany- Having breakfast brought to the room (make your own coffee) was depressing, with the app. being right on the harbour front - Getting to the hotel is difficult when there is holiday, as part of the city is locked. You then get into these ZTLs and might end up paying a lot more for your holiday - Regarding the payment between owner and booking.com there was also some confusion ('I need your credit card'), which cost another 30 minutes of time

United StatesVERY unhappy that construction (remodel) directly above us was carrying on @ 8am every day of our stay. Noisy and disturbing. They should have disclosed that to us at the time of booking and/or offered a discount.
