The walk up to the hotel is very steep and at night is not very well lit up.

Lovely staff. Quaint, traditional hotel. We had sea view rooms which had breathtaking views. The terrace was stunning. Easy to walk into Sorrento. Loved our holiday.

1. Our room was kind of small , but it was nice, clean and with comfortable bed - so I didn't noticed that much :) And they also upgraded it with a view, so I can not blame them for that. 2. The breakfast was the same all the 7 days. 3. we was accompanied with wasps at the breakfast every day, and they where annoying :)))

The hotel is great!. It is located in a very good place, very close to the center of the city where all the life going on , but it not in the city - it is above it. I think that is the best part of the Sorrento in terms of balance between action and the beautiful views. The only thing you have to go uphill about 10-15 minutes to get to the hotel. But for me it was not a problem . it is clean and it well kept - it seems like the owners takes a very good care of that. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. Overall it was pleasure to stay in it. The housekeeping was also every day.

The view from both the room and the bar were wonderful. The hotel pool was clean and pleasant and a great place to spend the day. The staff on reception were welcoming and kind and couldn't offer enough help.

I really liked this hotel. The only slight drawback was the occasionally steep 15 min walk to/from the centre of Sorrento. However, the views on the walk were breathtaking. Would have liked tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

The grounds, outdoor spaces, and interior decor of the hotel were beautiful. The swimming pool area was so pretty. The staff were friendly & helpful, and good with advice about local services. The bedroom was spotlessly clean, if on the small side, but we were out all day, so it wasn't that important. Good value.

Hotel La Badia is SO beautiful! It's really quaint - looks like a fairytale as you're coming up the hill towards it. The staff here were so friendly and helpful. The pool area was beautiful - we really enjoyed relaxing here at the end of the day. The breakfasts were great, and include desserts, and they serve you fresh coffees with it. We loved the location of La Badia - it's just up the hill outside of town, so a 15 minute walk in and out (walking up hill on your way home). But we had a motorbike so this hardly bothered us, and the benefits of being slightly out of town during peak season outweighed this. Would recommend!

Breakfast choices were limited and the same everyday - if you get there late, it doesn’t get refilled so there is not that much choice. There is quite a hill to walk up from the town - just to be noted for those who don’t like a walk!

Lovely hotel, great and accommodating staff, air conned rooms, pool was really nice (always sun beds available!), really good views and quiet.

It would be great if the hotel offered a shuttle service on arrival and departure days, because the road is quite steep. It's not so difficult without luggage. It would be good if they did something about the bees at breakfast, because we couldn't enjoy the delicious food because of them.

The hotel is located in beautiful surroundings where you can really relax, but the city is not far away either. The rooms are nice and clean, the view is wonderful, the pool is very nice with lots of sun loungers, you can really relax here. The breakfast was delicious and there was plenty of choice.

The location is set in the hills above sorrento, 15/20 min walk, once the walk is out of the way the setting is beautiful. Lovely family run hotel, staff very attentive and helpful, pool temp is top notch, breakfast/dinner views sensational, would Deffo return

It is a little dated and in need of some freshening up, renovating and modernising a little inside. But that is easier said than done given the costs! It is about 20-25 minute walk to the main town and Marinas. We knew this so we’re fine with it, but it can be a bit of a pain, however the view and peace are well worth the walk in our opinion. A shuttle bus from the hotel would be perfect, but appreciate this comes at a cost also!

Very peaceful, picturesque and quiet hotel with a stunning view of the Sorrento coast. Very clean and comfortable, large rooms. Food was decent. Lovely terrace area with amazing views. Pool and pool area were excellent.

The walk from Sorrento to the hotel is steep - it was not a problem for us but is worth bearing in mind.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The views are exceptional. The pool area is lovely and clean with plenty of sun loungers. The terrace where breakfast, lunch and dinner is served is stunning with a view over the bay. Our room was clean with everything we needed, including a small fridge. The view over Sorrento was stunning. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

A great little gem of a hotel. It is up the hill, but nothing to trouble anyone fit and able (even after some good wine!) The views are very nice, all the staff are excellent, the rooms are small, (but fine) with good aircon.

A beautiful rustic hotel where the staff are very friendly and attentive. Everything clean and the bed comfortable. The pool and loungers are a welcome addition. There is a bit of walk to Sorrento, however being higher up means there is the benefit of a very welcome warm breeze on a hot summers day.
