How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The only minor thing is that the air conditioning made some noises during the night, but I think it can be fixed.
The apartment is only steps away from the city centre. It was very clean, the room was spacious and had everything that is needed (coffee machine, kettle, mugs, iron). Bathroom outside the room was also really big and nice. There is also a supermarket just next to the apartment.

We rented the complete house for a group of 10 persons. To have 4 perfectly clean rooms with all that you could ask for and 4 spacious and well equipped bathroom at just 5 minutes walking from the Arena was an absolute luxury. Just before leaving we met Silvia, who added a big smile and some delicious cookies to the visit.

The bathroom was separate room and it was huge but the shower could have been bigger, but it had good pressure, also there is no AC in the bathroom so it was extremely hot. There was construction on the building outside but lots of morning noise so don’t plan on sleeping in. There was also noise from the other units, people coming and going to their bathrooms, but it didn’t bother us as that is expected.
The location was amazing. One block walk to Piazza Bra, there was a supermarket below, and the rooms were spacious.

I have no faults at all for this property
The property was spotless, never expected that , like a 4 star hotel. The room was spacious , had everything you needed including water in the mini fridge, which was a blessing on a hot summer day. It looks exactly as the pictures, it’s not deceiving at all. Bathroom was spotless, sanitised , extremely spacious, equipped with everything you needed, including extra towels , hair dryer and for my surprise a pair of beach slippers in case you wouldn’t want to be barefooted on the tiles. It’s positioned exactly in the city centre as described, I would definitely recommend and it’s a sure choice for our next time in Verona. Not to forget the host, Federico, was really fantastic, communication with him was so clear and responded quick and professional to any questions you had. Was touched by the personal note left in the apartment: Enjoy the Arena with a smiley face. One of a kind . His Instructions how to proceed for entry to the property were extremely clear and easy.

There was construction going on outside but that wasn’t the owners fault. We still enjoyed our time.

Spacious room with balcony overlooking the Casa del Mutilato. Fall asleep with the philharmonic orchestra practicing nearby, if you are lucky. The host is friendly and helpful, even organising close and cheap parking for us nearby. Short walks the excellent restaurants and the sights of Verona.

We had a lovely triple room with a balcony and a private bathroom. The bedroom and bathroom were both large and airy, and the beds were very comfortable. The host met us at the door and helped us with our luggage. There was a common area where you could make tea, and there was a coffee machine and fridge in the room. Extras like this are great. The location is excellent, very close to the Verona Arena, easy walking to the major sites.

Perfect location 2mins from the amphitheatre in Piazza Bra.. Simone was a fantastic host and supplied cushions for us for our visit to Carmen.

Absolutely nothing I can think of.
We (my mom and I) keep returning year after year because this place is absolutely immaculate and there is literally nothing that could be improved. Super easy to find, a 3-4 minute walk from Arena di Verona. Simone and his family are fabulous and their hospitality is unparalleled. The rooms are huge, there is a fridge in all of them, some of them come with a terrace. The rooms are immaculately clean, communication with the owners is easy. There is a big supermarket downstairs and the air conditioner deserves special praises in the Verona's scorching heat. It works like a charm and it really is much needed and appreciated (and so is the elevator as the property is on the third floor).

Bathroom is not connected to the room, but it’s not a big deal since they are few rooms.
Everything was clean and easily accessible. The staff greeted us when we arrived and was super friendly and helpful regarding recommendations for restaurants near us.

Overall it's good. The owner is friendly and hard-working. It's just that the bathroom is a little inconvenient outside the room. The room has a terrace and is very comfortable.
