- unbeatable view from the “Sassi” room, overlooking all of Sasso Barisano. The property also offers a shared terrace where one can enjoy the view. - we were welcomed by the owner of the house who was so friendly and took the time to explain to us the history of the city and the house. We also got lots of recommendations on activities and restaurants. We felt so welcome. - only 2 rooms in the property, making the experience very personal - great breakfast with sweet and savory options - very clean room, with separate trash bins for recycling

This was the best accommodation I've had in Italy. I was impressed by the host's kindness. The room was very clean, and the breakfast was excellent. The location was also fantastic. I will definitely stay here next time I visit Matera. Highly recommended.!!!👍

Need lounge chairs for the upper terrace although there were single tables and chairs in there. Just to be able to comfortably sit and watch the view.

Location is excellent, right within the Centro storico. The owners and server was very welcoming and helpful and accommodating. The view from the room and terrace was fantastic!

Our stay at L’Incanto Luxory Rooms was superb in a term of hospitality, breakfast, clean and delightfull design apartment and location. Great view spot of Matera Sassi Barisano from the roof tarace. Usefull tips from owner and near by safe parking lot made our stay even more simple. Friendly and warm family host. Would recomend at any time! Perfect 10.

During my stay at L'incanto Rooms, everything was ideal. The terrace room was very salubrious and met all my needs. The Onofrio family was very accommodating, providing me with candid and insightful information about Matera. A delicious assortment of fresh local produce was delivered to my room for breakfast. The guesthouse offers a breathtaking view of Sassi Barisano and is situated in a picturesque area of the city. I had a wonderful visit and wholeheartedly recommend it.

Location is perfect! shops and restaurants right next door. We took a taxi from bus station( via don luigi sturzo) and we were dropped right outside as taxis are allowed to enter ZTL zone. Bed is comfortable, big fluffy towels, breakfast is good, Marinela the breakfast lady was very lovely had good a chat with her. And the view from our balcony is breathtaking its like a postcard, we love Matera that we extended our stay for another night.. had a very good communication with the host Ono. Just a side note: there is a lift in the property but its only for the luggage use. So those who have a limited mobility might need to consider as rooms is on the second floor. But overall it was a lovely stay.

I loved everything about my stay at L’Incanto, the communication before my arrival was excellent, I was also sent lots of recommendations via WhatsApp of places to eat and drink. The room was spotlessly clean, and just perfect for a solo traveller, breakfast was freshly prepared each morning and delivered to my room, it was perfect and set me up for the day. Finally the terrace was just amazing with the most spectacular view of the sassi. Just perfect.

It was perfectly located in the old town, very helpful and family run business. Mr. Onofrio was so helpful, providing lots of information upon arrival. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable and has a terrace with a fabulous view. As a solo traveler staying in the top floor room, breakfast is delivered to your room, fresh orange juice, fruit, yogurt, toasted croissant, cheese and preserves. The staff were also extremely kind and friendly.

Amazing place with an incredible view from the terrace. The terrace can be your magical place for a romantic dinner or relaxation. I did not expect such a rich breakfast, and the staff's attitude is very warm. I highly recommend!

The staff was excellent. The city experienced a water shut down for a day or so. We were supplied with all the fresh water we could use for all our needs. All requests were answered promptly. A job well done.

The location was perfect overlooking one of the sassi's. There is a rooftop terrace with exceptional views. Many cafes and restaurants very close by. There's a daily breakfast in the shared lounge/kitchen room which was perfect. Also a coffee machine with capsules. The host and the gal doing the breakfast were so nice and accommodating. There's a parking garage about 7 minutes from the property.

Last night there was a big party at the piazza and very loud music played past midnight. I think all of Matera could hear the screeching sound. There is no private parking, but I was offered options. There is a paid parking lot for 20 euros (24 hours) and a free space about 15 minute walk. I was not feeling well, so I paid and it was worth it.

I absolutely loved the place. I had a room on the top floor for a solo traveler. It was quiet, the view was gorgeous, the bed was super comfortable, the room was very clean, the staff was so helpful, and the location was perfect. The one thing I regret was not staying longer. I had a quiet retreat in Matera and my stay was memorable. I really recommend this place and I can't wait to go back for a longer stay. The manager, Onofrio, was super helpful and responsive.
