The only problem was trying to contact the property on the arrival day. We repeatedly called and texted the property number and sent messages via booking.com. but no response was ever received or since then to explain why.

Just be aware there’s no elevator in this gorgeous old building. Only 30 seconds of effort to get your suitcase up the stairs, but good to know.

Fabulous little place in a gorgeous old building. Room was large, spacious and comfortable. Loved the character of the building. Location right in the heart of the old town was so perfect. So convenient to explore the sights, very special to have the Duomo almost just at the end of the street. Felt very safe coming home at night. The hostess was wonderful and friendly.

The shower took a while to heat up - and the button above the shower is not for the hot water, but instead a help button. don’t make the mistake i did and keep pressing it trying to get hot water!

It looked exactly like the photos! Very gorgeous, and felt authentic for Florence. All the furniture was nice, and the air con was top notch. The location was also perfect for our stay - close to everything, and less than a 10 min walk from the central station. The street it is on is noisy if you’re a light sleeper, but it didn’t bother us - the benefit of having good restaurants nearby outweighed the noise.

I didn't get the room I was booked in and the shower head didn't have a lot of pressure.

The owner was very friendly and the location was great. They have luggage storage which is really convenient if you have a tour the day you leave.

We had a problem with the hot water in our room that was immediately fixed.

The location! Katti House is in the city center! Easy walk from SMN station. Close to the incredible City Market. The Chapel of the Medicis. (Bus C1 will zip you to the Duomo, etc.) Mary, the owner, is wonderful, charming and welcoming. She made us feel at home. The Katti Restaurant right next door is so good. Try the cheesecake!

There was little to dislike as it was exactly as stated in the advert.

Great location short walk from the Firenze SM station. Right in the heart of the activity. The room was neat and spacious with a comfortable bed. The windows to the street were double glazed and double windowed which reduced the noise of the street immensly. Maria is an amazing and friendly host and whilst she has limited english was very accomodating and we communicated easily. I would stay here again as it was great value for money.

The locks on the doors are super old and are hard to maneuver. Could update the pillows-quite flat.

Super location-5 min walk to the train and tram station. All the sights are within walking distance. Room was clean and we are allowed to leave our luggage after check out to explore the city before our train left. Didn't realize we booked a bathroom that was external so that was a bummer but we were the only ones who could use it and had a key. Just a minor inconvenience.

The booked room said separate private bathroom. But I didn't expect it to be across the hall. I was under the impression that bathroom, though separate, would be still part of the private apartment. It should be mentioned that how far the bathroom is from this room. The bathroom was not cleaned properly on our arrival, and also the bed sides of the room were dirty. Also hand soap was missing. The wardrobe had a small safe, but we not provided with the key.

The location was central. The host lady, Maria, is good. She provides homely feeling to the lodging. The theme and vibe of rooms are heart warming.

During my stay, the room was not cleaned and towels were not changed.

It was cold that day, but the room was kept warm and comfortable. European-style furniture is also nice. The owner was also a wonderful person.

No coffee or no extra amenities

Just missing some amenities like coffee and some snacks. Otherwise it was a perfect location, clean, and the lady was kind and guided us through the place. However she doesn’t speak that well English. It felt like a home
