There was no glassware only flimsy plastic cups in the room. Shower over bath was not comfortable to have a good shower without wetting the wooden windows. The air-conditioning was not very cold.

The hotel is very quiet and clean. Big bed with a balcony looking up the street. Maybe ok for smoking but no furniture on it. Breakfast had a lot of choice. Free soft drinks and water in mini bar.

The only issue I had was the the WIFI connection was weaker in the exterior dining location where I had breakfast in the morning. Otherwise, great overall.

Prior to my arrival, I called the front desk to request a quick service for airport transportation to the hotel. The staff was prompt and ensured the driver picked me up at a favorable time with frequent communication. When I arrived, the staff member, a gentleman, was very friendly and welcoming and provided me with a map of places to go and things to see in the city. He was very personable and accommodating. My room was well maintained with complimentary drinks. I really admired the beautiful interior design and the overall aesthetics. It was a great experience! The breakfast offered was also very good as well. I would highly recommend this location to others!

The elevator is quite slow and not dimensioned for the hotel.

The room aircon didn't appear to be very efficient in what were very hot days 30-35Degrees.

Room was great and very spacious. Breakfast was good but it was basically a continental but you could have scrambled eggs. The food choices were great. The restaurant was next level with a renown chef , the food was amazing. we Later found out he had his own restaurant just around the corner. WE managed to try this the next night as the Hotel restaurant was closed. It was Fantastic. The 2 meals would have been the 2 best we had in Sicily . The hotel was well appointed and in a great location handy to amenities

Traditional, old-fashioned service, large comfortable rooms. Historic building. Great breakfast. Friendly staff who could not do enough to make your stay enjoyable. Thoughtful touches like fresh herbs from the courtyard in the cocktails.

Bathroom door handle was damaged and had to be reattached regularly. One night it was noisy for few hours presumably due to air conditioning fan being used in another room.

- it’s clear that the hotel was luxurious at some point, but it needs some renovations and upgrades. - old tv, no international channels, AC was barely working - breakfast was very poor, hard rock bread buns, trays were rarely refilled after 9am; juice and water served in paper cups (??) and nespresso pods for coffee. Coffee cups poorly washed in between uses. All in all, this feels at most like a 3-star hotel.

COFFEE: For a 4 stars hotel, in Sicily, offering only Nescafe capsules and filter coffee is really outrageous. Even the little coffee spots on the road had better coffee than here. FOOD: okish, but of low standards for a 4 stars hotel. More at level with a 2-3 stars maximum. TERRACE: They have a superb terrace to enjoy, however they don’t have a bar to order anything. That’s a weird choice :)

The overall look and feel of the hotel sends you to the bourgeois period and it’s very nice to experience. If they would have had a bar there, i am sure more people would stay around during the evenings to enjoy. The rooms are spacious and clean, the bed is fantastic to sleep on and the bathrooms were also nice!
