How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Despite the very nicely furnished apartment, the cleanliness of the apartment definitely needs improvement. A lot of dust on the furniture, blocked drains in the bathroom and an unvacuumed and poorly washed floor.
Very good location, spacious room, well-functioning air conditioning and comfortable beds.

Well the location is right in the busy area of Venice, which is very convenient as well as a bit tricky if you have all your laugage. It's like 15 minutes walking from the ferry station and it can be stressful considering that there's a lot of people all the time in all narrow streets. It isn't something bad, but just to keep on mind.
Although there's no reception there's a person who get to the appartment and explains everything. Also they brought the breakfast to the room, which I liked it.

If there is one thing, then the window is to the courtyard and can look straight into the room, so had the keep the curtains closed all the time.

The room could have been cleaner as I felt I needed to wipe some areas myself. For example, the sofa, shower head and surfaces looked used and could have had a deeper clean before arrival.
We loved the location, right in the centre of everything, just a short walk away. We couldn’t believe how central it really was and we were able to get to places in under 15/20 minute walk mostly. Excellent spot. The room/area felt secure as there are several doors and key pads until you get to your room. The room/foyer smelt nice. There were plenty of towels given and clean sheets. The coffee machine was a nice touch/addition to the kettle. The AC was very handy and easy to use. It was also very reasonably priced and great for a short stay. The fridge was also useful and a good surprise as we were able to keep stuff for breakfast and water in here. The room was also a good size for 2 people and we like the layout of the bathroom with each part having a sliding door.

Would have loved more shower gel... a large soap dispenser would be good. The air con was very cold overnight, but we couldn't open the window for security reasons (being on the ground floor). So the apartment was hot overnight without the air con on.
Very modern and spacious apartment-style room. Super close to the main part of Verona. Quiet, clean and convenient. Clear and simple instructions for check in.

- The WiFi wasn't working at the beginning, the instructions didn't help either. But the host helped us out the next day. - the ventilation in the bathroom wasn't that good and the room itself has only one window Wich goes out to the Courtyard so the room was a bit moisty. - we only had contact with the staff (or host?) over WhatsApp and without any names, which was a bit odd because you never knew with whom who were talking.
The location was perfect and the room itself was really clean and had everything you need.

It was difficult to find the office even with Google maps. Skylight high up over bed was beautiful however it could be annoying for visitors in summer with early sunrises if it can’t be covered.
Spacious, clean, perfectly located for all the sights, shops and restaurants, without being in a busy noisy area. It had everything we needed. Friendly welcoming staff.
