Beautiful view from the balcony, very friendly and helpful receptionist

Leakage in the bathroom and bidet, and missing cleaning material to wipe the water in the bathroom, missing kitchen cloth to clean kitchen table. Missing baking sheet.

Great location with beautiful view on the lake. Spacious accommodation. Friendly staff, good communication. The house was clean and is generally in good shape. The kitchen is spacious and sufficiently equipped. Nice garden as well, allowing for sitting outside while enjoying the view.

You have to pay extra for the air conditioning, 35€ per day which is quite a lot. You could open the windows at night to let cool air in, but then you also invite plenty of mosquitoes. So please install insect screens at the windows, or make AC standard. Also the mattresses in some of the beds are not very comfortable.

The location and view from this property were absolutely fantastic — no complaints there. The master bedroom even had a lovely balcony that we really enjoyed. However, the stay had several major drawbacks that made it uncomfortable and stressful. First, the bathroom lock was defective — every one of us got locked inside at some point and had to struggle to get out. Not only was it inconvenient, it was also quite unsafe. Similarly, the main entry door lock was extremely tricky to use. It required a lot of trial and error to figure out how to lock and unlock it properly, which is not what you want after a long day of travel. The driveway ramp to the property was extremely steep — honestly, it felt dangerous to drive on, especially with a larger vehicle or if you’re not an experienced driver. Though there were air conditioning units in the rooms, they had been disabled or locked so that guests couldn’t turn them on. There were no fans either, which made the rooms uncomfortably hot. We tried to leave the windows open for ventilation, but the windows had no grills or screens, making it feel very insecure — especially in the master bedroom. This property has great potential, but these issues really impacted our stay. I hope the hosts take them seriously and make the necessary improvements.

They declined to give us key before paying the city tax in cash and we didn’t have cash. Had to go to an ATM to get cash when we were so tired and exhausted and eagerly waiting to check in and take rest.

There was an additional charge of approximately £30 per day for air conditioning, which was not made clear at the time of booking. The garden was shared with the flat upstairs, which was not clearly stated in the listing. As a result, when the upstairs guests used the garden table (positioned on the grass rather than directly outside their own accommodation), there was no private outdoor space left for us to use.

It was a little chilli in the house at the evening but we prefer sleeping in the cold so it was fine.

The location is perfect. Better to have a car, as it is maintained places. The view - it is awesome. The lake, mountains, other villas, calm place... there is dozens of pluses of the place! The house is super. It is very cozy, warm, silent place. There were all we needed and more. Very clean, good beds, enough furniture. Excellent balcony and terrace were useful. The one thing is override everything- the view... it is love from first look:)

The things to improve: -The wifi is good for kids, tv, maps. For video calls / streaming- no. So it is better to have a backup of mobile roaming if it is required for work. That's we did just. - Therer were things the owner was going to improve. That was minors.

Nice location with view of lake Como. Parking at apartment was an added bonus. Great place to base ourselves and explore the lake and surrounding towns. Being so close to the “Greenway” walking trail meant we hardly used our car. Plenty of room for a family.

Needs some minor repairs which can be easily fixed.

The property had great views. Perfect location. Just what we needed it for.

Picking up the keys from the reception was quite a distance if you didn’t have a car. Very hilly.

Located an easy 10 min walk from the shore. Very handy for the lido with access to swim. Great vies from the first floor apartment balcony, lovely place to see in the morning and evenings. 15/25 minute walk to a number of decent restaurants. Our host was very friendly and helpful. She spoke fairly good English, which was great help as our Italian was dreadful

Furnishings were a little basic. Lacked wardrobe space and hangers. Sofa was not really comfortable. Overall had all we needed functionally but did lacked any homely feel. Bit of a walk to the supermarket (especially back up the hill) so glad we had a car and parking.

Perfect location, though quite uphill and steep to get to so not recommended for someone who has mobility difficulties/ or wheelchair access.

The beds could have been a lot more comfortable but they were quite old and not so comfortable to sleep on.

Excepțional view of the lake! The public beach is 10 minutes by walk. It is plenty of space for a big family to stay and house is well equipped. Very quite place.

It is very steep way to the property! There is no moschito nets on the windows. Very slow water in the lavour. Only one power adaptor in case you need to plugin some other appliences. It is a bit expensive for the accomodation provided.

The location was fantastic, especially during the feast of St John, we were able to watch the fireworks from the front of the property. It was nice to have breakfast on the table outside. We appreciated the early check in. There is a spot to park and it is a really nice to walk around the area.

It could do with some flyscreens, which would have made it easier to leave the beautiful windows open. The shower was a little temperamental too, but these things were not a big deal overall.

Clear instruction to pick up key, very friendly owner and all as expected. She gave directly some information and suggestions for dinner and opportunities to explore Lake Como by Ferry, could park for free on the the camping close to the ferry.

The house in which the apartment is located is not very easy to find. Number 6 building is behind another house and no sign on the main road that indicated you have to go in to get to the correct address. Also quite narrow last part of the road, distance warning light in the car we doing overtime! Being in the middle of a community area you also have the sounds especially of the animals (rooster at 5:30am), good for early birds!

pPace was very clean, in a great location, beautiful view, and there was parking on site. We were even allowed to park at camp site which was close to docks/ports which made it easy to catch a ride to other locations around Lake Como.
