The processes are old fashioned, the bookings are presided over by the owner (I assume) who is courteous but this is old fashioned, a lot of Italians eat there average age 50. Breakfast wasn’t appetising, there was little storage, the WiFi didn’t work and I wasn’t allowed an iron.

Views were spectacular, restaurant food is fantastic, old school Italian and delicious. It’s near to beaches and has a lovely team of helpful staff. The little shuttle to the beach was useful, but it was a short walk , so also easy. The garden was amazing, the flowers and the vegetables that they grow and use were awesome, they have more that one terrace so nice areas to relax after a day at the beach.

The location and the views are beautiful. Such a nice place to disconnect and appreciate surrounding nature and the nearby beaches with comfort. Amazing food at the restaurant!

Getting to this property without a car might be difficult

After a month spend traveling around Europe- THIS HOTEL IS THE BEST. The view was amazing, access to the beach is super easy, restaurant is amazing, staff is incredibly friendly, clean and comfortable room, free parking and a mini fridge! The best AC we found on our whole trip

The soundproofing between rooms could be better. It was very quiet our first few days there but as the hotel filled up we could hear our neighbors quite a bit.

Very nice hotel in a superb location. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the room was comfortable and the included breakfast nice. Amazing views from the rooms and terrace, and the free shuttle to/from the beach a great added bonus! Worth mentioning the beautiful beaches were just a walk away.

Small shower, but plenty of water pressure and hot water. The hotel is old, but well kept. It needs to be updated.

This is an old hotel/resort on the side of a mountain overlooking the sea. Gorgeous view from the room. The room had a balcony with lounge chairs to sit an look at the ocean.

Only a slight problem, but because the property was a little way uphill, it was a bit of a walk to the beach. However, there was a really lovely man who kept offering to take us to the beach in a buggy which was a facility provided by the Hotel completely free of charge.

Hotel Internationale in Ancona. While the journey up the winding road is a challenge at first, by the 2nd day we were already experts… and the view was overlooking the beautiful landscape all around. The dining was superb, and the owner and staff went overboard to make sure we had the best stay possible. As an example, our “host owner” often stopped by our table to engage in conversation and he would bring a bottle of wine to give us. It was difficult to leave but we were only halfway through our 30-day journey around Italy. Hotel Palace Verona – We stayed for 5 nights and traveled locally each day for day trips nearby. Our favorite was Lake Garda…this very large lake had enough gone on for us to visit there multiple times. We took the train to Venice for one day and, although we had been there on a prior trip, we wished we had more time to spend there. It is always a fun place to spend at least one day.

Not so easy to access

A rare find, in the middle of the forest, with a breathtaking view of the sea, a quality hotel with a restaurant that is really worth it! The staff is very helpful, the owners attentive and very professional. Small dogs are welcome. The rooms with large terrace are impeccable. I highly recommend it.

Amazing and very helpful and friendly staff who go that extra mile for you. Superb location. All in all a wonderful family run hotel run to International best practice standards. Everyone there is extremely invested in making your stay happy. Extremely clean and well looked after. We hope to return certainly.

Everything was perfect.

We were on our way from Volos (Greece) to Reading (England) and enjoyed a great stop over at Portonovo in Hotel Internazionale located some 25 min. driving from Ancona port. We had disembarked from Igoumenitsa. Before pursuing on a further two long days of driving, we enjoyed our stay at a wonderful hotel in the Riviera di Conero enjoying gorgeous views over Portonovo Bay and the Adriatic. Hotel Internazionale location, its architecture, its garden, room decoration but above all its wonderful owners, management and hotel staff deserve all our warm congratulations for their professionalism, care and attention to detail. Dinner at the hotel was another treat. We will definitely come back on our next trip.
