Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ItalyNothing, totally amazing hotel and experience.
The staff were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing with so many different choices. The lifeguard was so great with the children and made spending time at the wonderful pool, fun and special. The hotel is close to the beach and in walking distance to some delicious restaurants. We had a great time and will definitely be going back. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing family holiday at the beach.

AustraliaThe rooms are a little dated but it was fine for us.
This is a lovely hotel in a lovely part of Venice. We loved the location for our family of four where we wanted to have a beach holiday but also explore the city of Venice. There are many shops and restaurants near the hotel and the beach is only a few minutes walk away. Beach beds and umbrellas are reserved for you at the beach. I loved this. The staff were so nice to deal with. They answered any questions we had and we're extremely helpful in giving us advice on the best ways to get from A to B. We loved the buffet breakfast each morning. It was fresh and varied and had many options to suit all types of diets and preferences. The pool area was beautiful. The pool for our children was quite deep but they enjoyed the children's pool. The lifeguard on duty was excellent. She engaged kindly with the children, giving them toys to play with and helping them with their swimming. She upheld the rules of the pool in a fair but firm manner which meant it could be enjoyed by everyone. Pool towel are available at reception which we availed of. The exterior and reception area of the hotel is beautifully decorated. We did find the rooms a bit old and dated but they were exceptionally clean and met all our needs. Our room was cleaned thoroughly each day and new towels were provided. We were very impressed by this hotel.

United KingdomBreakfast was a bit chaotic with children screaming and running around. We would have appreciated being seated in a quieter area. Also the terrace was only available for breakfast if you had a dog! Didn’t like not being able to pay the bill until 8pm before next day departure. As we were going out for dinner with our family and leaving early the next morning we tried to pay at 5pm but told it wasn’t possible. As a concession we were told we could pay at 6pm. This ‘rule’ seemed a bit customer unfriendly.
Breakfast was excellent, with many choices. Liked having the included beach loungers & umbrellas. Staff friendly and gave a good service, both at reception & behind the bar.

United KingdomThere was nothing we didn't like.
We had a standard double room, it was spotlessly clean and had an en suite and a balcony to sit outside. The staff were super lovely and friendly... reception, breakfast, the room maids and in the bar. They were very patient and gracious with my inability to speak Italian! Breakfast is from 7:00 to 10:00am and had a great selection to choose from. It was the perfect hotel for what we needed and great value. The bed was comfortable. On check in we were given a voucher for allocated sun loungers on the beach. The beach was lovely although we were only able to enjoy it fully once due to unusually cloudy/chilly weather. The outdoor pool looked fantastic but we will have to try it out on our next visit.. We got to the hotel via Venice - Alilaguna ferry boat from Marco Polo airport to St Mark's Square and then Vaporetto (water bus) to Punta Sabbioni. We got the bus from Punta Sabbioni to the bus stop right by the hotel. ( Cost around 27 Euros pp, lovely scenic route) We chose this hotel so we could easily travel in and around Venice, which we did for two days, but still have relaxing beach days too..This worked perfectly for us. There is a bus stop just round the corner, you buy tickets to Punta Sabbioni from the Tabbachi. From there you buy Vaporetto (water bus) tickets. You can easily travel to St Mark's square, all round the Venice canals - Murano - Burano etc. Then return to the peace in Cavallino and this lovely hotel. We got Vaporetto tickets that lasted 72 hours for the freedom plus it is better value than getting single journey tickets. You must remember to use the machines to validate your transport tickets every time you get on a bus/water bus etc. Otherwise you could get a hefty fine!

United StatesThe room furniture and decor a little dated. It is nice that they have family rooms but the metal frame on the bunk beds seemed a little flimsy. We were genuinely concerned it would not hold if the person on the top bunk moved too much. I suppose it is adequate if you have small children. We had a pre-teen up there.
Great location close to the beach. The hotel room included a reserved spot on the beach with umbrella and two lounge chairs. That was a bonus we were not expecting. The hotel exterior is beautiful and they have a Gelaterie and a great sitting area just outside the lobby. It is and easy walk to numerous shops and restaurants. We did not use the pool or the tennis courts but they looked nice. Mini fridge in the room was smaller than most but did the job. The buffet breakfast was very good and had many options. Private parking just behind the hotel. We received a small gift at check-out which was a nice touch.

AustriaThe room did not live up to our expectations, mainly because the bathroom was very old and there were hair on our bed. Another point would be that the TV was so small that it was pretty much useless and the AC didn't work as expected (there was some kind of auto setting, which meant you couldn't cool the room to your liking).
The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great and the included beach chairs were also a nice thing to have!

LuxembourgI asked for the car to be in a covered area (this was confirmed, which is why we chose this hotel and not the one next to it). By the time we got there, it turned out that there was no 'reserved' parking space, and the small indoor garage was always full. The rooms were cleaned with a very strong-smelling chemical, the first night was particularly difficult because of this, sleep and the bedding took on this chemical smell, so we slept with towels on the pillows. The bathroom is very small, I had to learn how to shower in such a way that I don't turn off the faucet unintentionally. There is no sliding glass door, only plastic curtains, which makes the whole bathroom wet. In addition, the toilet is very close to the shower, you can even wash your hair while using the toilet :-)
The location of the Hotel was ideal, it is very close to the beach. The Hotel looks good from the outside, seems to have been renovated, there is a small shop nearby.
