Personally, I found the bed a bit small and not very comfortable as with every slight movement the whole mattress moves.. But we could sleep well, so it was ok in the end.. Breakfast is not what is displayed in pictures here. It basically consists of boiled eggs, pancakes and all kinds of white flour pizza-like breads, not so nutritious and it is exactly the same every day (we stayed 5 days). When we asked for some variation, perhaps more like what is shown on pictures on this property page, we were served a wonderful english breakfast but were asked to pay extra 5 EU / person. It was fine, but a bit unexpected and the hosts did not seem to be very happy about this request. Other guests might not care too much about the breakfast, but for us a nutritious breakfast is an important start into the day.

To me, the best thing about this accommodation is the attached terrace with wonderful views. Location is very peaceful. Hosts were very friendly and gave us lots of tips for trips which was very helpful. On one evening, the hostess even brought us a plate of cooked meal to try and we have received a small bottle of local white wine. Air condition was working perfectly. Room is nice and cosy.

A bit tricky to find and very narrow roads. I prefer cottton sheets instead of polyester.

The accommodation is like a jewel away from the hustle and bustle in and around Cinqueterre. From here (after a short daily off-road experience on the access road), you can explore the entire surrounding area, from Genoa to Pisa and Florence, everything is within easy reach - and of course Cinqueterre (from the nearby Vezzano Ligure railway station). The hosts Olga and Giovanni are such lovely people, obliging and caring. The breakfast is great fun and gives you the energy for the excursions. We would love to come back if we`re allowed to ;-) (we are certainly not the "classic guests / tourists") and are already looking forward to it.

The mosquitoes!

Our hosts, Giovanni and Olga were lovely and made us very welcome. We had Italian- Russian breakfasts each day and they were very generous 😊. Our room was beautifully decorated and the bed linen was nice. An excellent bathroom. Finding the property was a little difficult as the house numbers aren't very logical and the road is narrow. You need to keep going for at least a kilometre and branch right when you see the sign for Arcola.

A wonderful place that is located on top of the hill and the view from the terrace is amazing. The house has a feeling of coziness and warmth. The owners are very kind and helpful. The breakfast is very rich and tasty, the pancakes and homemade jam were perfect. We highly recommend it and if we have the chance we will visit again.

I was really happy with the hospitability of the owners. A really pleasant stay in a great location. Easy to travel to La Spezia with public transport. A welcoming home with a great breakfast and good company. A lovely garden, overlooking the Arcola hills. Away from the busy city. Very clean home, you will feel well looked after. Certainly a place I would return to!
