The owner was very helpful and friendly. He showed us everything comprehensively. The room was clean and comfortable beyond our expectations

The location was good and it was clean & tidy.

We are not a great fan of shared kitchen facilities, but it suited our needs. The steep stair access to the apartment is very tricky.

The location was brilliant! Nice, well stocked coffee maker in the shared kitchen. It was nice to have the option to cook, if we wanted. Room was clean, comfortable, simple, tasteful. The host was very kind and met us upon arrival to show us the ropes.

- Very well placed! - Free coffee in the morning from the espresso machine. - All the facilities you need. - Good communication with the host.

Perfect location close to rent bicycle shop, nice host with clear communication. Atmospheric hotel in an old historical building but with good repairs in the apartment

Brilliant location and the perfect set up for a few nights stay

Manuel was great - easy to communicate with and helpful taking bags up to accomodation. Brilliant room right next to church… central, quiet, all mod cons in the kitchen. Safe storage for bikes- fabulous!

If you aren’t very fit it is 3 floors up! Don’t bring heavy cases!!

Excellent stay in the city center

Amazing location, we loved our stay here. The aircon was great, shower was a dream the room was so spacious with a great view and you can literally roll to the main area - there was even someone playing the saxophone one morning it drew us out for a coffee - such an amazing time we didn’t really use the communal facilities but great to have them - coffee machine and a cooking area. Manuel was really informative and helpful.

Only negative was the pillows there wasn’t much to them

The location was great, but Lucca is small. Most locations would be good. It was very clean. The bed was comfortable, and the air con was good!

You have to go in a dark arched access to a courtyard that is a work in progress in order to go up two flights of stairs to access the ghost hotel. As a solo traveler, that was a little less than ideal.

Host was kind and great to talk to, the location is as good as it gets (right by the center and yet very quiet), and the rooms are comfortable. The shared kitchen came in handy too!

Locationi was great; view from room was nice. Price was decent.

Room, though very clean, smelled slightly of cigarette smoke and dirty feet (perhaps in fabric of headboard?). Host was not there to meet us at indicated time; he had emailed to ask us to call him, but we were out of wifi and not getting emails. Extra pillows would be useful. There was only one partial roll of toilet paper.

One word - amazing! Manuel was a great host, very helpful and friendly. The room was perfect - spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The location was even better - right in the heart of Lucca. I can't recommend this place enough. Fantastico!

Great location, charming management, air-conditioned bedroom very comfortable. Brilliantly well-equipped shared kitchen for guests, also air-conditioned. Nearby the excellent restaurant 'Anna & Leo' with traditional food - try the wild boar stew!

The best stay in my whole stay I assume. The room was fine and near to everything around Lucca. The owner was so lovely and helped a lot in reaching restaurants, attractions and bus station.
