We had dinner in the hotel restaurant and we waited more than 1 hour for a regular meal with a OK quality and huge price. This lovely and charming hotel deserves a better restaurant with more quality.

We loved the hotel, the infrastructures, the pool, the staff. Breakfast is good but no excellent. I've been in a lot of boutique hotels/heritage hotels around the world and that hotel deserves a better breakfast.

This property is amazing. The staff, the decor, the dining, the grounds, simply one of the best hotels I’ve been able to experience. Paul the concierge went out of his way to help us, answer questions and was so kind and responsive.

The property and the surrounding grounds are beautiful, the whole experience is incredibly relaxing. The interior of the building is eclectic and interesting with lots of space to relax and unwind. The staff are second to none, very attentive but not overbearing and are always willing to help. The restaurant is beautiful, even though Florence is packed with an endless number of great restaurants we ended up having dinner there twice over our four days. It was beautiful.

Stunning villa in a perfect location just 15 min from Florence. We stayed here with our 7 year old daughter and she absolutely loved the place, pool and breakfast.

The fact that we had to leave :(

This was one of the best stays we’ve ever had. The magical environment of the villa is topped with great, helpful, friendly staff. The food was amazing. We enjoyed the pool and a relaxing massage as well which were both exceptional. The hourly shuttle service makes life so much easier of you want to visit Florence too. Can’t wait to be back at Il Salviatino!

The only thing I’d like to see improved is the pool area and to have a section which is properly heated - it was a lovely temperature for adults in the sun but too cold really for our 18 month old.

Nothing. It was simply a blast. Will be coming back. A real 5 star hotel.

I rarely do give hotels 10 stars but this is a ten out of ten. It‘s pricey but worth every Euro. The serene atmosphere in the buildings, the huge pool in the park, the handy shuttle into the city centre, breakfast on a green and cosy terrace overlooking beautiful Florence. Don’t get me going about the cake buffet at breakfast! Can I say more? Will definitely be coming back with or without my picky and demanding teenager, who also loved the hotel.

The staff were incredibly helpful warm and friendly. They accommodated our every conceivable need. They really went out of their way, they actually remembered our individual orders at breakfast each day and generally were so pleasant and kind. The grounds were gorgeous! Flowers everywhere surrounded by green rolling hills. The bartender at the pool was so fun and gracious. The pool was divine! The spa was lovely and restful with a delicious hot spa in which to relax.

A divine blessing! Staying at Il Salviatino was like staying with lovely friends: carefully blended intimate, warm hospitality combined with personal space for stillness and tranquility. We will never forget enjoying breakfasts, drinks and dinner on the Il Salviatino terrace, with its breathtaking views of Florence. Florence is amazingly beautiful, with masterpieces in galleries and museums, jaw-dropping architecture and heavenly gardens. Sitting on the Il Salviatino terrace, it’s very easy to see all that glory captured in one scene. To add to this magic, there were extensive gardens and the other-worldly spa to transport us to an even higher place. A divine blessing. Thank you so very much.
