Unfortunately, being located in the heart of Lecce’s historic center — where it’s not uncommon to come across insects on the street, especially during the warmer months — it can happen that, despite our constant monitoring and regular pest control, one may occasionally find its way inside. We’re truly sorry that your stay was affected by external noise due to temporary construction work, which is completely outside our control. Unfortunately, we cannot anticipate or stop public works managed by third parties. Our property is located in the heart of Lecce’s historic center, just 20 meters from Piazza Sant’Oronzo, in a generally quiet area that is highly appreciated for its charm and relaxed atmosphere, despite the central location. Our staff was available 24/7 to listen to your concerns and promptly offered a solution by providing earplugs. While we always strive to provide the best possible experience, it’s disappointing to receive such a harsh review for something that does not depend on our management. We believe a more objective and constructive approach would have been more helpful and respectful. We still hope to welcome you again in the future under better circumstances, and to offer you the calm and comfort you were looking for.
