The bed is a fold out sofa, BUT, it is comfortable.

Bellano is far quieter than other towns and the accommodation is in a quiet part of Bellano… so some peace and quiet are to be expected. It has its own little beach and grassed area on the lake which is perfect for a sunset vino or two.

There was nothing we did not like or felt the need to complain about

We arrived with a hearty welcome provided with ice cold drinks in the fridge and a snack on the table. This spotless clean apartment has everything you need, the friendly host has thought of everything for humans and their furry Family member. The beds are comfortable as is the shower in the spacious bathroom. We loved sitting on the beautifully decorated terrace. Ideally located as there are plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from just a short walking distance away. We can definitely recommend Il Porticciolo

We liked everything :)

Nice little cozy studio, on the shore of Lake Como. Well equipped kitchen, with everything one may need, toiletries, easy check in and access to the location. Great location, a few steps to the train station and bus stop, with easy to reach shops and restaurants near by. Wonderful host, very easy to communicate to and very friendly and helpful. Bellano is a wonderful little town, quieter and more peaceful than other more well known locations on Lake Como, but definitely is worth a visit.

Our stay in Bellano was absolutely perfect. The apartment is just 3 minutes from the train station, yet located in a quiet and peaceful building with easy access. It’s compact but has everything you need, including air conditioning. The host was incredibly thoughtful—Ivana stocked the place with water, basic food, even first aid supplies, and welcomed us with a bottle of wine. She also provides clear, detailed check-in instructions, including videos, which made our arrival completely stress-free. Everything was super clean and well organized, and communication with her was flawless from start to finish. We especially enjoyed the small terrace with lounge chairs, where we spent our last afternoon reading with the sound of birds all around. There’s a public beach and a Conad supermarket just 5 minutes away on foot. We slept deeply and in total silence every night. We truly felt at home and cared for. Highly recommended!

The apartment had everything you need, and the host Ivana was wonderful and very responsive. She even left us a bottle of wine and some snacks and made sure we have all the information beforehand. The apartment was clean, the location perfect!

The place is way better than the pictures, even though the bed is the couch, it is extremely comfortable as it has an inbuilt mattress. Also there is a lovely terrace from which you can see the lake and there is a small private beach right in front of the house parking. The host was beyond welcoming, she gifted us a bottle of wine and some snacks :) I would come back there again, highly recommend!

We had to fold and unfold futon daily, otherwise it was preventing from opening the entrance door

Location is excellent, just 2 minutes walk from the train station and a beautiful viewpoint at the lake bank 20 seconds away from the apartment's entrance. Apartment was equipped with everything we needed, cleaning products and toiletries available. Wifi worked perfectly. Overall Bellano is a great place to stay. Train trip to Varenna took only 5 minutes and was EUR 1.50 per person 1 way, trains were empty and run every 30 minutes. When going by train back to Milan there's no crowd and the platform like in Varenna. Roundtrip by boat to Bellagio was 10 EUR per person and views were amazing, definitely recommend to include on the itinerary.

I cannot say one bad thing about this place. However, the only downside is no Aircon and the fan isn’t very powerful- therefore we were quite warm at night.

This is a home away from home. Cosy little apartment with very large and beautiful terrace with a lake view to enjoy breakfast or a glass of wine. 1 min walk to the train station, 10 mins to the town centre and what feels like a private beach right on the doorstep. The apartment is equipped with literally everything from toiletries to beach towels and blankets etc. sofa beds are comfortable and simple to fold away for the day time. Fabulous welcome bottle of Prosecco on arrival and a very friendly and easy to reach host. Would 100% recommend.

A quiet place in a quiet town. Very close to the station, and no, you can't hear trains or the road. Located on a ground floor with a private entry, no staircases. A feeling you've got to an italian home and it's all for you. And of course, a very careful hostess. Thank you!

Close to town center, great restaurants, Apartment itself it’s small but really cosy, with nice views, quiet and short walk from ferries and next to train station. Not very touristy area. It was perfect choice. Tip. Opposite the accommodation is a water filling station. Great water, still or sparkling.

Nothing, couldn’t fault it!

In such an excellent location, about a 30 second walk from Bellano train station and only 5 minutes from the main strip. Ivana was an excellent host and had great communication, making the self check in process really easy. The apartment was well stocked with anything you’d need including washing machine, toiletries and a fully stocked kitchen if you wanted to make food. Lovely touches left for when we arrived of a bottle of prosecco and snacks. I would definitely stay here again

I think it should have been made a bit more obvious that this is a studio and has no bedroom. We actually found ourselves looking for the bedroom before realising we were standing in it lol! It didn’t really matter but we were surprised. The bed is also not that comfortable sadly so I wouldn’t recommend if you suffer from back issues. Apart from that though, everything was super cosy.

The location is fantastic, super close to the train station, ferry port and short walk to restaurants and shops. The place was cosy and cute and had absolutely everything you could think of. Owner was super responsive and very lovely and helpful. There was wine, coffee, crisps and even little sachets of milk for us to use, plus toiletries in the shower in case you forget anything! The weather was a bit cold when we were there but the apartment was cosy and warm and the bedsheets smelt so good! Very clean! Bellano is a great location to be in. You can get to everywhere! It’s easier to get here via train from Milan central not Bergamo, even though Bergamo looks closer you have more changes, hopefully this will help people when deciding which airport to fly to. Trains and buses are regular. Varenna and Bellagio are definitely worth a visit.
