A little out of the way if travelling to and from Bari itself, without a car. The capsule-type coffee machine did not work and leaked water.

Clean, comfortable and quiet in a residential area.

We had really nice time in Bari. The accomodation is in a very quite area, the beach and the sea is in a 10 min walk, there is a shop in a 5 min walk and there are some restaurant nearby. The tram station (Bari Palese Machite) is 10 min walk, there are some bus stops nearby. The area is very calm, the sea is cold and nice. The house is very nice, there is a small garden and a terrace, where you can drink your coffee. You enter in a small hall, your apartment and the host's apartment open from it. In the room there is a double bed, a small fridge, a table with two chair, a wardrobe. In your own bathroom there is a big shower. You get some towels, there is suncream, antiinsect spray, shampoo, and everything you may need. Our host was really kind and helpfull, he gave us apricots, coffee (fhere is a cafemaschine) and some biscuit. We got two sunbed for the beach. We could leave our bags there, because we needed to leave the apartment at 11 am, but our flight left just at 10 pm, they were flexible. It is perfect for two people, we recommend this place:))

we spent two nights here, the accommodation was very comfortable. close to the train station and the beach. there were also many restaurants and shops. the owner of the accommodation was very kind with us, recommended restaurants and places. There is also an iron at the accommodation, which was very useful for us.:)))

The flat was in a quiet place near Bari center. The host was very helpful.

The house was exceptionally for us! We enjoy every moment. The house was clean and the amenities in the flat it was enough for 2 persons

The owner is very friendly, and gave us a few suggestions where to eat and what places to visit. The room was new and very clean (corners of the shower looked like they had just been tiled, they were this clean!) The room was warm and air-conditioner worked all good.

- We had to ask for a kettle for tea although appreciate not everyone drinks tea, unfortunately it leaked at the base and there wasn’t anywhere to really put it. There was no spoon to take tea bags out 😅. - there wasn’t enough wall sockets and one was hanging off so felt quite unsafe. - there’s not really a fire exit, as the window is covered in metal bars and you’d need to open 2 doors with a key in the event of a fire. - we locked ourselves out as wasn’t aware the main door locked when closed so just be aware of that. - not really a negative but this is more like a B and B as host lives in the next room so can hear tv etc so it’s not a full apartment to yourself/completely private, wasn’t an issue really. - would be nice to have an info leaflet in room with details such as taxi number, restaurant recommendations, key info.

- The host Enrico was lovely and was always on hand to help with any queries, he also picked us up from the airport when we were nearly scammed for a 30 euro taxi which should only be 15 euros! the 33 bus also didn’t turn up. - The street was nice and quiet. - Bed was comfy. - Good shower/bathroom area - snacks provided, nice touch! - Nice garden to chill in when sunny. - 10 mins walk from trains (not always regular) although we did travel to a few places, less regular on Sundays. - clean room, cleaner seemed lovely too - fridge in room handy

The matrasse was a bit used.

We had a pleasent holiday, beautiful, quiet place near Bari, perfect if you want to reach the lungmare by walk but also not being too far from Bari and other must sees. Train station is within 10 minutes, trains run frequently at a reasonable price. The owner offered us a ride from the airport and asked us if all was great during our stay. Also we got fruit which was very kind. I love Italy in general, I know the ups and downs as I lived in Milan and Sicily for 1,5 years, but again in Puglia I felt very much at home from the first moment. Palese is very quiet, went for evening walks, you have some options to eat out if you want as well. Casablanca is a great restaurant. Beach is very pleasent but pls make sure you are aware this is not a sandy beach are, it is more rocky, but we loved it all the same. I would love to return whenever it is possible. September felt still summer, which is quite normal. Un posto veramente meravigliosa, grazie, a presto!
