We’d previously stayed at the hotel a few years ago and back then they did great pizzas. Unfortunately they no longer offer pizzas however, the rest of the menu on offer is lovely.

The rooms are clean and comfortable. The loungers round the pool are super comfortable and there are plenty of them too.

Only downside is its position next to the Florence–Siena motorway — rooms on that side can be noisy from traffic.

Perfectly located in the heart of Tuscany, ideal for visiting Florence, Siena, Chianti, and Montepulciano. Rustical climate and atmosphere, clean rooms with daily housekeeping, comfortable beds, and a nice pool with bar.

Wi-fi coverage could have been better in bedrooms. As expected from the online description, there was a little noise from the nearby roads.

I liked that the description on the website matched the experience very accurately. Clean hotel, great pool and spacious pool area, friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, great location for exploring Tuscany. The bedroom with a door out to the pool area was particularly good. We enjoyed the snack lunches from the pool bar.

I expected it to have a more rural setting and also that the gym was on the ground floor with fresh air. I didn’t dislike its ASIS but I was expecting something a little different.

If some guest is noisy someone of the staff should intervene, expecially during breakfast. And please, choose a softer as elegant music in particular at dinner.

We didn’t realize that the size of the hotel would mean lots of bus tours, which means lots of people and crowds at breakfast. The staff are not flexible about serving cheese plates or charcuterie in our room, or in the lounge, where we wanted to enjoy some local wine we had purchased (we are in the middle of Chianti region, after all). And what is it about Italy that the pillows are like slabs of wood? Of four pillows in our room, only one was half-decent, and no others were available. No shampoo/conditioner/body lotion in the rooms, which is odd for this level of hotel. We finally got some after the second request to the front desk…apparently it’s kept under lock and key there.

Location just off the highway was good as a base for travelling to nearby towns in different directions, and a lovely view of Montereggioni at night. Room size was adequate, if not huge. Breakfast was OK, although the very same every day for the 4 days we stayed. Bed was a good size, and comfortable. Lots of parking, and some rooms have a nice view of the pool area…although we faced a small lawn and trees.

We arrived late so we wanted to do a quick dive in the pool before it closed, which we just managed but as we were sat on the deck the man closing the bar and pool was so eager to bring down the sunbrellas that he shut it on me as I was trying to get up with my infant in my arms. The hotel is placed kind of in the countyside so you have to drive to reach Monteriggioni. As we were hardly able to use the swimming pool as we arrived in the afternoon and it closed at 7pm, in hindsight I would have rather booked an accommodation inside Monteriggioni.

We only stayed here for one night, on our way through Monteriggioni, and everything was quite alright. Our room was not very big but fine and the hotel lounge is quite nice. The breakfast buffet was very decent.

To get a pool towel was 5 Euros and you weren’t allowed to take your room towel to the pool. The rooms could use a makeover and it seemed a bit high priced.

The property had a big pool and plenty of parking and the staff were friendly.

Beds, extremly hard matress. Better choice for breakfast or at least open bar where one could buy a real coffee. It has good potential but not fully used.
