How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Great location to explore the city. Breakfast terrace was superb, very chilled stress free and qicknto all the sights and attractions. Quiet. Good parking.

That we only stayed 2 nights
Love our rooftop balcony facing the park. Loved that our 3rd floor room had access to a lift. The staff and room were amazing

It was spacious and comfortable - very clean with lovely toiletries provided. The staff are really friendly and helpful and we enjoyed the delicious breakfast and fresh coffee on the terrace every morning with a view of the Duomo. It’s a really good location and is less than 10 minutes walk to the Centro Storico with on street parking right outside the property.

This is a great find. Position perfect - short stroll to old town. It’s an absolutely beautifully designed and finished home with all you need. Little balcony a plus. Extremely clean. The staff are so nice and accommodating- the breakfasts were fresh and abundant. The wonderful ladies making breakfast and taking care of the rooms are so friendly and helpful. The 3rd floors terrace for Brekky is sweet! And the lifts save you from the effort of luggage carrying. Self check in was seamless. Can’t recommend more highly.

This place is a must-stay in Lecce. It's really well-designed and clean. The rooms are spacious and super comfy. The breakfast was fantastic, just like a hotel’s, and the staff—Terry 💙 (we love her) and Sonia 🩷(we Love her also) —were so kind and welcoming. They made us feel like we were spending time with family. I would definitely recommend this place for your stay in Lecce

Extra hooks to hang towels in the bathroom.
Lovely friendly receptionist who spent time chatting to us and making us feel welcome. Lovely spacious room with excellent air conditioning. Great bathroom with walk in shower. Nice breakfast served on the top floor with superb views of the city. Good location, 5 minutes walk from the old town.

`Great location to explore Lecce, great roof top terrace for breakfast, good selection at the buffet, could sit inside or outside which was nice. Hosts were helpful and on hand in the morning, self checkin using pin code. Elevator was good for taking luggage up but unfortunately it seems to family using it before us overloaded it and then it was broken so had to carry my luggage down... bit of a nuisance but not the owners fault... street parking was quite busy but always found somewhere even if a bit of a walk...

The location is about 10 minutes away from the main historical area. Our first room (#03) has a door directly to the street (our 2nd room didn't have this issue).
The staff was very helpful, we had an issue with our room and they provided a very good solution for us. Good breakfast. Good shower. Everything was clean. Large room!

Everything! Amazing hotel! Breakfast was amazing, so much choice! The best one in our stay in Italy. Lovely host and staff, very friendly and helpful. beautiful room. great location, near the historic centre and 15 mins walking distance to train station. Really nice, recommended. Thank you!

The internet was a big problem. Wi-fi was strong, but there was generally unusable response from the service provider. Connected to WiFi, we were unable to do basic google maps searches of the town, so we used cellular data all the time.
Great location, quiet and comfortable. Our room had the best shower of our 3 week trip around Puglia! The staff at breakfast was really fun and friendly! And the food was very nice. We were always able to park on the street within 1/2 block of the front door.

Fantastic place, great staff, Sonia gave us lots of good local knowledge on places to visit and restaurants. Excellent location just out of old town. Easy parking for free in the streets outside the apartment block. And to top it all the roof top terrace for breakfast and an early evening drink with great views.
