Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyNothing to say.
Quiet place with beautiful surroundings. The room and the bath inside the nuraghe is spacious and clean. The swimming pool is great (nice view, big, clean and many sunbeds to lay). The staff is extremely friendly and the service is really good. One of the best breakfast we had in Sardinia. Also there is restaurant on site and dinner (made by the owner) was just amazing! Great experience!!

United KingdomMosquitos! House wine undrinkable. Elsewhere we've had fab wine only 8 euros a litre, carignan and cannonau reds. We had to order a bottle in addition to the house wine which thankfully was good.
Delighted to stay in a beehive shaped nuraghi. All mod cons, even a washing line in the garden. Great location. Good food and wine, though avoid the house wine. Went to great lengths to provide lactose free butter, milk, yogurts for me and excellent dinner choices too. Lovely staff, and entertaining host.

MaltaWas a hassle to get to it as the main highway was closed so wasted a lot of time finding a new route, nothing to do with the property or owners who helped get us there in the best way possible. It’s in the middle of nowhere but that is kind of the point, just be prepared
The location is amazing just beside the lake and the buildings are really well incorporated with the landscape. The owners and staff where amazing and super helpful

SwitzerlandNothing. But you will need a car to get here.
1. Strong Wifi 2. Very good and high-quality food (both meat and cheese) - can not go back to regular speck/ salami anymore after staying here for a few days 3. Very quite and peaceful, perfect for disconnecting and relaxation 4. The farm animals are just adorable - puppies, chicken/ goats and random cat visitors following us around

United KingdomIt would have been useful to have the menu communicated prior to the meal commencing, and confirmation that it was all included in the price. For example, we were asked for our choice of wine prior to even knowing what was going to be served. We think possibly a minor oversight (in context of every other ammenity generously provided) that although there was a kettle in the room, there were no cups (only plastic) and no condiments. We would have liked to make our own tea (that we even brought with us) but unable to do so, and the room is remote from the main buildings. Lighting a little bit dim for our taste.
Stayed in the Nuraghe. WOW. Constained by the physical architecture, so don't expect Marriot rooms, but within the architecture they have done an amazing job - ok a bit tight in places, but there is a curvature to the building. We ate at the restaurant, with some constraints, specifically one vegetarian. The food was spectacular, and the only concern was that we didn't believe the price was inclusive ! (It was - and was fabulous). We over ate, but could not help ourselves it was so good. Buffet breakfast had some very special treats too.

SerbiaBe aware that the Diana bridge is temporarely closed and you need to make a bigger root.
Very interesting idea for a hotel and very good. The house seems rustic but it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. There's a restaurant, and you can enjoy your breakfast or dinner. The location is remote but that's what it is about. The lake is just near and it's picturesque.

United KingdomThe Nuraghe is a very unique place for those people that want to experience something totally different from the norm. Even though it has all the comfort of a hotel it is its surroundings that makes it such a charm. They offer a delicious home made breakfast where you get the opportunity to taste the proper Sardinian sweets and also in the evening they have a really well priced generous set meal which again you get to taste the proper Sardinian food. Hosts are amazing. The Lago is such an amazing area to explore by walk and for those that love stargazing this is the right place!
