The only possible downside is that if you have a car, while there is parking very close to the apartment for free, it is very tight and better for small cars/SUVs. We had a wagon that is a little longer, and we were lucky there was 1 spot that fit it. Once we parked, we did not use the car because we were concerned that we might not find a large enough spot on our return. I think that this was OK because we just used the ferry to go between towns and it worked very well.

We (husband/wife and adult son) stayed for 2 nights, and we loved it. The location of the apartment was wonderful for us. It is not in the main tourist cities but it's near the ferry that will take you there. The apartment is located partially up a hill with a walkway directly outside the terrace that leads you down to the lake within a minute or two. The apartment was comfortable and had the added bonus of a washing machine. There is no air conditioning, and it was very hot out, but because of the location, we had open windows with a breeze that cooled it down at night so it was fine. The owners are close, and we did not need to ask for anything, but it's nice to know they are there if needed. We would definitely stay here again.

I came in by bus. It would have been nice to know walking directions because we followed only the driving directions which took us up a big hill with all of our luggage’s and then back down the hill in the alley walkway. Since we were not using a car, walking through the alley directions could have saved us a lot of energy and sweat getting to the property. I thought I booked a place with air conditioning but instead this only had an oscillating fan.

it’s a fabulous apartment. So close to every. Everything is provided. So comfortable. The host checked in via message every evening to see if everything was OK. Even adjusted the heating for us on a particularly cold evening. Free street parking. Definitely a great place to explore Lake Como.

The perfect place for my stay at Lake Como, with incredible access to surrounding towns like Tremezzo. The apartment is private and cosy, with a well stocked kitchen, huge bathroom, comfortable bed and beautiful patio area. a great local bar and restaurant just 100m down the road and the c10 leaves from there too. I saw on the pictures the old-style of the apartment, but encouraged by the good reviews, I decided to make a booking. However, there is a difference between an old-style apartment and one that is falling apart and was never renovated. Most of the furniture is very old, the laminate on the bathroom cabinet was coming off, you could see all the wood underneath. The bed in the large room was incredibly old, you could feel every spring. The entire apartment was full of dust collectors, old curtains, and artificial flowers. There was a lack of proper bedding, only a sheet and an old knitted blanket to cover up with. The whole apartment smelled of dampness and age. The bathroom was simply dreadful. The aparatment was never renovated, most of the furniture and items is several dozen years old. I understand that Como is expensive and we were in the middle of summer season but taking 418 euros per 3 nights, for such place is really not fair to the guests.

Nice terrace, classical Italian house. 10 minutes-walk to public beach. Basked with snacks on arrival (it was very nice!)
