Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Czech RepublicI can't say that I didn't like something. Just a few notes / warnings. - It is not a walking area .... you need a car if you want to go anywhere (shipping, eating, sightseeing etc.) - You should be good driver - thousands of road bends and last few hundreds of meters nice "field" road, with interesting descent / ascent. I enjoyed that, but I can imagine that for some drivers it might be challenging :-) - You are in mountains, you should stay in mountains. Forget "trips nearby" ... as it is about hours of driving .... once more .... no straight highway and if the distance is 50-90km, it might be 60-120 minutes of driving (one direction). However, there are so many very interesting places nearby, so visits to Modena etc. are really off the table. - If you are traveling from the rest of Europe, navigation will take you to over mountains. 2 funny hours of driving. - For the last mile, don't trust your navigation, trust the description what you will get from your host. Old style "you will take this turn, after you see a house on your left, you will continue .... ". Just do what they say and you will find them :-).
Fantastic place with a little of off road driving :-D. With pretty large swimming pool, which you will have 70% time just for you (there are just a few apartments). Therefore a paradise for swimmers (I could swim 1-1.5km per day) - compared to other facilities with swimming pool, where you can basically "stand" or "play". Apartment is well equipped. Of course, it is not your own home, so few things are missing and experienced travelers will know that and will bring a few extra things with themselves :-). I traveled with 3 nearly adult boys, so it was great that everyone had own room (2 +2 +1). No "one large room with double bed and 2 extra beds". This was really convenient. Privacy is a nice thing. We used this place as a base camp - ideal for trips to nearby mountains, mixed with "just resting" days at swimming pool. Nearby are really good restaurants, you can test more of them. Stores are also close enough. I plan to visit it again. As pluses significantly overweight any minuses.

Israel1. Very low availability of the hosts 2. The house is bare and without curtains, there is no privacy 3. The kitchen is not equipped - I would expect a sugar coffee / tea set and a number of basic ingredients such as salt, oil, absorbent paper, dish sponge, kitchen towel. 4. Toilet paper - they brought us only 1, when we asked for more they said that it is usually customary to put only one 5. The road to an apartment is long and adventurous. Not suitable for normal vehicles, the arrival instructions are not clear 6. You can take a shower once every half hour otherwise there is no hot water 7. The shower is a huge challenge, the shower is not sealed. The water flows from every direction, and the shower is quickly flooded. Huge potential - very little attention to detail
Great View. Beautifully set infinity pool. Spacious.

GermanyGiven the high quality aspiration of the place, it is a pity that much money has been spent, but not always in the rigth place. I give a quite long list of suggestions for improvements; this should not overcast the fact that we thoroughly enjoyed the stay. 1. The road to the apt is a bit adventurous for the last km: pebbles, very narrow, in part very steep. I do not know how this works should it rain (it didn't fortunately) But ok, just be aware. 2. Characteristic example for money spent in the wrong place: siper-luxurious shower valve, but you do not understand which of the 5 knobs opens the water. For elderly persons, handle and shelf would be nice. 3. Expensive wive glasses, but few normal ones, no little bowls, few pots, dull knives. Sad! 4. Some basic things are missing: Salt, pepper, Sugar (?), towels for kitchen, spoon (!), felts for chair legs (noisy!). Detergent for dishes (to be fair, there was one for the dishwasher) 5. Microwave, mixer would greatly improve comfort at low cost 6. There were more than a few flies around. Waste separation seems still to be an alien concept there. In Summary: regarding facilities, there is much to improve at little cost. Think about!
The place is absolutely marvellous. Very modern apartment, wonderful swimming pool, a place to dream... very calm, the other 5 apts do not disturb.
