Food choice and its quality… for a country with such a great sources of fresh, locally produced food… food menu has been falling behind the rest of services provided … we had to go to eat somewhere else after 2 days

If you do not have a car, it is not very easy to reach to the accomodation and transport all around is a bit of luck. But if you do have a car, do not hesitate to book this amazing relaxing place!

The pool is amazing, the stuff is very professional and kind. They arranged great transfer service for me and were very collaborative all the time.The rooms are quiet spacious and the bed is great, housekeeping every day. Delicious cocktails and wines!!!!

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. There was a wedding party on the Saturday evening, but we were told about it in advance, and the hotel made suitable arrangements. The location was great for exploring the south-east coast of Sardinia, including Cagliari.

The pool could be cleaner. On weekends pool is so busy you will hardly find a space on sunbeds if you don’t reserve them in advance.

We loved the overall vibe and the decorations of the hotel. Hotel nature was amazing. The pool area is great. The rooms are decent. Service is on point, they went out of their way to accommodate us. Breakfast had delicious food with a nice spread of choices, other meals in the restaurant were good as well.

The highlights of Il Monastero have to be the personnel (special mention for Sidinie) and the pool! The restaurant is very good too with a wide selection of vegetarian options! We also appreciated the fact that you can borrow parasols for when you go to the beach!

Geremeas doesn't have a lot to offer as a location, the beach is 20 mins walk from the hotel. The bus does connect to local villages but there are only a few a day. A car is recommended if you want to explore the area. If you just want to chill, it's perfect.

We had the most amazing time at the hotel. Staff is super friendly, swimming pool and restaurant are seated beautifully and the rooms are very comfortable, in such a charming atmosphere. Daniela, the owner, is very friendly and always keen to help. Would definitely come back.

The restaurant. If you don't have a car you will have dinner there. The menu is the same every day, a bit expensive, and the staff doesn't speak English and ALWAYS mess up your order. The bartender speaks English and he was very helpful. I wish you offer a special dish every night so you can have a different option every day.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff is friendly. The pool is really nice and different, and the rooms are different from the average hotel. The beaches near the hotel are beautiful, and a supermarket is within walking distance. It was very easy to get there from the airport, we took the train and then a bus. It was around 5£ per person, if you get a taxi it could cost more than 120£.

Our room was (probably) the last room in the far corner, n.34, and needed some attention. The bidet was detached from the floor, there were way too many ants (even considering it's kind of a rural area), the window stool/apron was too dirty, and the tv did not work. Breakfast has variety but is not good, the bacon was undercooked and the scrumble eggs were just like a sponge. No hygienic method to cut the bread.

Relaxing place, the pool area was very nice. Lovely building. The bed is very comfortable and the staff is friendly.

Many things: - Location!!! :( * Too far from airport (180 euros just to reach and go back to Airport) No shuttle service. *Only one transport bus/not tourist friendly (If you don't drive/ride a bike, then its a downhill) *All the beaches too far away, no city center close by to see, no other restaurant *No taxi services, no eating locations or online ordering food as it is tooo far from the city. - Need to reserve table for dinner when you are staying there. (with no food delivery system uber eats/eat.it, etc the hotel itself is the main source of food) - Bathroom tooooo small (all water goes out of the bathroom, and the space between commode and shower is negligible) - Nothing to watch or sea nearby (no city center, no transport, no big market)

We loved the - air-conditioning in the room, - the cleanliness - ambiance of the hotel, sitting area, and pool were excellent - Breakfast - The staff is very very kind and friendly - If you have your own transport (rent car/bike) very lovely hotel to stay and eat in. - Loved the food. - ***The administrator gave us the ride to sea and bought us back as we have no means of transport to go there. He is the kindest soul we met. 5 stars for him. -***We reached late at night and the hotel caretaker still showed us around and the chef also cooked dinner (even after the reception & restaurant were closed)

Breakfast was rather monotonous and didn’t have enough choice, especially of fruits, so after few days it was a bit boring to eat the same things.

The area is so peaceful, and even though they were quite some guests, it was quiet and very enjoyable. Kids were very welcomed (2yo) and could fairly safely play around the whole property. They also loved the pool. The walk to a nice natural beach was ca 10-15min and could be done with a stroller. Dinner was delicious. Staff was very nice, they prepared us a take away breakfast since our flight was very early in the morning.
