How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

A bit of noise due its central location but not so important. Also, if you come with big luggages might be difficult as there is no elevator in the building.
Central b&b with clean and renovated rooms. The breakfast is also really nice and the drinks offered in the room are a plus. The location is more than perfect to visit Florence ! Value for money for this city.

Amazing location! We had a wonderful room with a lovely breakfast included. It is so easy to walk everywhere; train station, museums, markets, etc., also the host was incredibly friendly and helpful.

Only critique is listing says washing machine in room which was a strong reason for booking for us, however this was not the case and no laundry room at property. There was several laundromats around which was extremely helpful however pricey for us

Great room in the heart of Florence. Walking distance to all of the tourist attractions. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great.

Everythng was good
After a kinda long climb up stairs we were greeted warmly by the host ! The bedroom was comfortable and offered all the facilities we Needed ! Breakfast was very good

Lots of stairs up to the bed and breakfast, especially with luggage. There is not elevator. The market is directly outside, which can be nice but noisy for some.
I loved the breakfast! The beds were also extremely comfy, especially for walking in Florence all day. The room was spacious and clean and the host was extremely attentive to all of our needs.

All the keypads make a loud noise when you press the buttons. Would be better if this function was turned off as it can possibly disturb other guests.
Good location right next to Il Mercato Centrale. A short walk to the train station for trains or cabs.

There is not lift, the stair were a bot dirty, so a bit uncunfortable for this reason. The location is okay, but very busy due the market.
The room is very big and clean, the mattress is very comfortable and the breakfast is good.

It was pricy for a B&B (over 200 EUR), but, then again, other options were pricy, as well. So I'm probably just having trouble adjusting to the new traveling reality :)
When entering the building, you might have second thoughts about booking this place. The stairs are narrow and dark. But then you enter this sunny, clean, cozy room. It is very well equipped, there is a huge attention to details, the minibar is free of charge. And the girl serving the breakfast very nice. Not to mention its fabulous location, right next to Mercato Centrale, where, by the way, there are plenty of tasty meal options! So I highly recommend it!

Very noisy location with market (setting up in early morning) and late night bars - however it didn't bother us too much.
Great central location, easy to walk to all attractions. Plenty of good eateries nearby. Also close proximity to the train station. Nice sized room with good facilities.

Near the markets so a little noisy but ear buds supplied. Not a negative.
Fantastic location. Everything within 10 mins walk. Lovely breakfast m cereal, pastries, juice, toast, coffee. Very clean, secure, lovely staff. Next to markets, huge food hall and restaurants. 10 mins from train station. Would recommend.

There was no lift. Booking indicated one flight of stairs when actually it was four to reach the entrance to the B&B. Traveling with individuals who had some disabilities made it difficult with our luggage. It did get somewhat noisy at night.
Breakfast was good; what I expected for a continental breakfast. Location was very good with easy walking to sites. Staff was very nice and helpful. Accommodations were very comfortable.

The decoration is very black. Also the bathroom toiletries were black.
Very kind and attendant staff! Very clean and had full amenities kit. Also the fridge was full with the necessary!

Nothing but check again if you have physical difficulties as our room required climbing a few flights of stairs and we had zero luggage.
Location. Nice touch with the free beverages. Breakfast was simple and good enough.
