The room was clean and comfortable with a good restaurant on site for breakfast and dinner and friendly staff. It was open for lunch but we didn’t try that. The really exceptional element of our stay was the kindness of one of the owners, Federica. We had major mechanical problems with our rental car and couldn’t get through by phone to anyone who spoke English. Federica made so many phone calls for us, translating English into Italian and always gracefully. I don’t know how we would have managed without her.

For me I didn't particularly like Lido di Sole, its all just Holiday Apartments and Hotels so I imagine it is quite busy during July and August. We were there in September so everywhere was quite and a little deserted with a couple of cafes open and all the hotels closed. The beach looked okay but most seemed to be connected with the hotels etc.

The swimming pool looked fantastic but unfortunately because of the weather we didn't have a chance to use it. The restaurant was great with a good selection of food available at lunch and dinner. The prices were good and the quality of the food was excellent. Breakfast was good with a selection of mainly cold meats, cheeses, croissants, juices etc and hot fried and scrambled eggs with bacon and omelette and pancakes available. The staff were fantastic, warm, friendly, helpful and courteous always. The room we had was fantastic with a huge terrace overlooking the countryside towards the lago, when we return we will ask for the same room. Parking was great. The hotel is in a good position on the edge of Lido di Sole with easy access to Rodi Garganico and Peschici.

The room was a little small for four people. Wi-Fi coverage was very patchy.

Beautiful setting in a large olive grove, very clean and a great location for exploring the area. The staff were friendly and helpful and the restaurant was great.

We are travelling by bicycles.it was easy to arrive to Il Giardino. Extremely beutifull garden and quiet area. Good place to watch birds, for example European bee eater. Delicious breakfasts, pizzas and dessert ( tiramisu) in the evening at that restaurant. English speaking and friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Huge downside - the verandas of the rooms located on the ground floor at the back of the building. Firstly, the chairs were so uncomfortable that it was impossible to sit on them for longer than 15 minutes. Secondly, the light... Ceiling lamps with absolutely blazing, cold light that would turn on automatically at around 7pm and stay on whole night. Instead of a nice evening on a cosy veranda we had to lock ourselves in the room and blind the window to avoid this horrible light. Seriously, as if someone did everything to keep people away from using the terrace.... The swimming pool area was not accessible after 7pm. The shower didn't work properly.

Nice well maintained place, the room was cute and quite comfortable though not too big. The restaurant is very cosy and pleasant, especially in the evening and they serve decent food. The bread they serve for breakfast and with the meals was just a masterpiece of bread! Olive trees and other green make the place look really charming.

Not a great location if you are going for nightlife or beach vacations. The area nearby seems abandoned.

The hotel is great, the staff is very friendly and polite. We stayed 2 days and ate both days in the restaurant - the food is great, especially the pizza. The pool is clean and very nice.

The door locks, remember that the key can only be taken out of the lock in the horizontal position, it will save your sanity.

Only a one night stay, but within that time I saw people enjoying the swimming pool there was a courtesy bus to the beach area. They staff were friendly and we enjoyed the restaurant garden area with lovely food. Breakfast was also enjoyable.

The rooms are modern and clean. Breakfast is outstanding compared to typically italian breakfast in hotels in italy. You find everything you need and everything is organic and fresh. The food is really delicious and the price is also good. We used the restaurant every night.

It makes a hell of a difference whether you have a room on the ground floor (no view whatever) or on the first floor overlooking the olive grove with the mountains in the distance.

Nice location with good restaurant in a quiet setting. Very helpful staff even assisting us with a bicycle repair.

It's a small hotel with a great outside pool. A bit dissapointing is a fact, you can't go to pool without a cap. Hotel is located near a tourist village, which was at time of our stay in June a complete construction site. Room was basic, but ok. Breakfast had enough of variety, good coffee. Pizza in hotel's restaurant was delicious. Big parking available. All together, great value for the price.

Not much really. The place was nice and the staff were friendly.

Lovely pool area and felt safe and secure. Easy walking distance down to the beachfront and some cafes and restaurants.
