Location to the Riomaggiore harbor. If you can, book a kayak for a few hours and paddle left (looking out to sea) of riomaggiore to swim in a small cove for a few hours, the highlight of the trip.

The only thing we didn’t like was the time for the parking. We booked for one night, and we arrived late at night so we wanted to explore the city a bit longer during the day. But we couldn’t put our car longer in the parking, and it was too much things to do to put it in the other parking place. So that’s why it was not convenient, and we kind of rushed ourselves from visiting the city.

The location is just perfect, and it has its own parking so we didn’t had to worry about where to put the car. The landlord was also very helpful and was always in contact with us, for any question.

Our stay was excellent, although we fid feel the room was a bit damp when we would return having been out for the day, possibly because of the room location.

Basic amenities were very skinny - no toilet paper roll holder, nowhere to put shower items, etc. it was basically a room to sleep, not to have breakfast or hang out in. Maintenance of the outside was in need as everywhere covered in weeds- presentation could have been better. Bedding was musty smelling and limited choices of pillows to get comfortable.

It was great access if you have a car. We were lucky enough to get parking at the room. Being in the lower level it was nice and cool in the heat of the day. Easy to get around both Riomaggiore and the other towns using a discount voucher provided by the room. Wifi was great

I found it strange that we had three people and only two caps and glasses (few of which were broken), and not a single plate/fork!

Check in was not straight-forward. There is no lobby or front desk. The first person we talked to on the phone didn’t know anything. We finally got checked in outside near the gate to the town. Communication was poor for check in and check out. The room was a bit musty but otherwise clean and comfortable.

Great location just inside the town and close to waterfront and train.

Parking, it is right outside the property but getting to the right place was a bit difficult. Serena helped and we parked fine in the end.

WE enjoyed our stay at II Giardino di Riomaggiore Suite. The room was a very good size and modern with a large bathroom. The property was situated a bit of a walk from the beach but gradually uphill. It was not far from restaurants and cafes. The room was very comfortable and the host was easy to contact and very obliging.

Only thing is that the room was a little cold and musty.

Location was lovely, room was spacious and the hosts were very accomodating. The added touches of tea and coffee were thoughtful and the bathrooms were modern. Perfect space for 3 travellers. * GREAT LOCATION but don’t follow Google maps directions on how to access the place! It will take you up hundreds of unnecessary stairs and the room is actually just a short 3 minute walk from the train station!

This room had everything we needed for a 3 night stay! Very clean and fairly spacious room compared to other accommodation we had looked at. Loved that there was a little courtyard terrace outside and the walk down to town was really easy and short. Not having stairs to this property from the train station was also a bonus!

Needed a good contact number with a person that speaks English. Never received a code for the lock. Never received any instructions as to how to check in, lock code, or where the room was located.

The smell of the mold was awful. In the room and even worse in the wardrobe and bathroom cupboard. Could not put clothes in the wardrobe. No toilet roll holder. Only two pods of coffee for two people two nights. No toiletries. Mean for the price.

No breakfast. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

One evening, when it was raining heavily, water got into our room and flooded the floor and some of our belongings. What we were also missing were some basics, such as plates, cutlery, bottle opener, cleaning products.

The room was clean and tidy, and the lady who met us to let us in was pleasant and helpful. The accommodation was centrally located with a nice view over the garden and the hills.
