The pool was really cold and many mosquito's. The place was potentially too remote for us, so be mindful if that is what you are looking for. We spent quite some time in the car getting places, if you want to hang around the pool and get comfortable, this is an amazing place.

The breakfast was good without it being exceptional. The staff was very nice and the welcome was warm. You can really enjoy the views, the silence and the outdoors.

There was not one thing that we didn’t like.

This accommodation is just perfect. The old villa, the pool, the location, breakfast, the personal, everything was amazing. Also the owner of the property is really nice and friendly and you can tell that she put her soul into this business.

Just a small note — we came across a few spider webs in hidden spots like under the bed and around the furniture. A bit of extra cleaning there could make an already lovely stay even better 😊.

It truly felt like a dream… With its location, design, and overall atmosphere, the two days we spent there as a family were simply unforgettable. Being surrounded by nature brought such peace—it made everything else fade into the background. There were a few minor issues, sure, but the setting was so beautiful that we barely noticed. The family suite was spacious, and the view was stunning both day and night. Breakfast was included and quite satisfying. Big thanks to everyone who made this lovely experience possible!

We liked everything, but there are a lot of home cats in the castle, so if you are allergic to cats or don't like cats, take it into account.

Wow, I even don't know where to start describing our experience. It was one of the best places we visited (and we travel a lot). The castle (yes, you actually sleep inside a castle) is located in a very nice and quiet place. The host traveled a lot (really a lot, more than most living people) around the world and has a lot of artifacts and albums you can check, which is super interesting. The breakfast was the best we have eaten during all our visits to Italy (7 days) and the home pets (including the donkey near by) are improving significantly the experience. We very Highly recommend this place and we are giving it 10/10.

This really is a B&B about which there is nothing negative to say.

Beautiful B&B in a beautiful castello. Nice rooms, good beds, beautiful views, nice swimming pool. The delicious breakfast is provided by Dita (thank you for the service Dita). You can use the kitchen and the refrigerator. In short, a nice place for a luxurious and carefree holiday. And yes, it is a bit remote, but every town has its gems and you can enjoy a nice walk at the dam nearby. And the owner also knows great restaurants. Thank you Catharina for this and also for the nice conversations. We will definitely come back.

Caterina, was a lovely host - very open, very flexible, very fun to talk to. The place is wonderful, with an amazing view over the valley and the ride up there is super fun. Also amazing breakfast with the softest scrambled eggs I've ever had.

The outside is beautiful. We loved the pool, the animals, our bedroom and the garden. The breakfast was delicious and had everything we could wish for. The host ist very kind and helpful. Overall we had a great stay and hope to go back!

I liked everything, I guess if being picky, would have liked softer pillows for me.

The location was stunning! The interior of the Castle was very beautifully narrated. I wish we stayed there longer and I had chance to explore each room. The view from there was breathtaking. I loved everything about it.

Although was great seeing cats at the properly, the number of litter trays throughout the properly meant that the whole house smelt really strong of cat urine and faeces. We are cat lovers but if you aren’t then this would be an issue.

Beautiful area and views across Tuscan hills. Just what I had in my dreams about iddilic Italian authentic location. Thankfully the owner spoke English which was ideal for us. We got an accidental upgrade as the maid hadn’t clean the intended room which was meant for us which was great for us! It felt very exclusive, only two other couples there when we were. The room was grand and bed was very very comfortable. We had a great meal at a restaurant called Olmo which was 5 mins from property which I would highly recommend. We had fab breakfast the next morning which was fabulously presented also.

Cleanliness was so-so but I understand the whole vintage-authentic thing going on. No other info about the place and our stay, just the wifi password (wifi is average). Beware, cell service is very limited here.

Included breakfast was fine, the location was excellent but expect bad roads to the location. The room was HUGE for two. Loved the authenticity of the place and loved all the cats there. Franca was very nice and accomodating.
