How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The walls are a bit thin.
It was clean, tidy, swimming pool helped a lot in the heat. Just follow the rules.

we stayed at the hotel for one day after arriving in Bari. Clean bathrooms, comfortable beds, breakfast on a very nice terrace.

I preferred more toiletries in the bathroom. Only had shampoo and soap bar. The shower was old so it appeared not to be as clean as I would prefer.
We really enjoyed the friendly staff. They provided valuable information about the surrounding areas as well as providing excellent restaurant recommendations. They went out of their way to making sure we were comfortable in our room. Hotel staff was the best we ever had!

There vas a mold in the shower and in general room looks far from fresh. We had a room with a window to the railway, so we could hear the trains running.
Near the airport, breakfast is nice, there is a swimming pool.

Taxis were very expensive, I paid 40 euros just for a 10minute drive to the airport.
Rooms were clean and up to expectations. The pool was nice and clean. Breakfast was good with opening times from 7-10AM which gives plenty of time to get the breakfast in depending on the time you wake up.

A little dated. Mandatory swim cap to use pool Air con - but minimal in heat
Good location for Bari airport. Easy parking. Pleasant grounds. Lift access. Good breakfast. Fantastic staff at reception.

The AC did not seem to work in one of our rooms.

The room is kind of old and not up to date. The floor is covered with a carpet and this not only grans dust but also needs to be cleaned with detergents which obviously smell.
Breakfast was nice. Lots of items to choose from. No vegetables or meat but many cakes. The room's balcony is small but sufficient for an morning breeze. The pool is nice and located by the hotel in an olives orchid. The hotel is 10 minutes drive from the airport and that's a big advantage.

The rooms were not so clean. The carpets were filthy in two of the rooms we stayed in and the rooms need some updating generally. Some of the rooms also back on to a railway track so this was not great on our first night when we needed sleep ahead of a long drive the next day.
Excellent location for the airport. The reception team were so friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was plentiful and with a good variety of fruit, cake, yogurt and coffee, juices etc.

The location. There are no taxis in Giovinazzo. 2 lovely men drove us the approx 10 minutes to the hotel. The hotel can arrange a shuttle for 30euros. Once at the hotel, there is nothing surrounding. There are buses to San Spirito and Giovinazzo. On Sundays though, there are no buses and hotel restaurant is closed. Without a car, it can be expensive. The staff also don’t offer many suggestions. We booked the shuttle to take us to the Giovinazzo train station for 30 euros. It was a taxi from the airport. The driver asked us where we going and we told him taking the train to Bari. He offered to drive us for 40euros. We took him up on that and he dropped us at our hotel in Bari. Much better. The location of the hotel was the major problem. Suggest hiring a car to get around if a tourist from overseas.
The hotel was lovely with a beautiful pool to swim in. Staff were very helpful.
