Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ItalyIf you didn't have your own transport it is 4km out of the main tourist area, but, i had my bicycle so no problem for me. I was alone so I wouldn't have minded a little chit chat with the owner, she seemed very busy though and perhaps prefers to leave guests in peace which is lovely if you want to relax alone.
Breakfast was fantastic - tasty and plenty of it. The property is beautifully presented and maintained. Communication with owner polite, timely and informative, while still being left alone to enjoy the stay. My only regret is that I didn't stay longer.

Turkeynone, all is amazing
I'm in love with the building, the decoration. I organized this trip for the trulli houses, and staying one of them is amazing. It's 6-7 min far from the city center by car. the area is quiet and safe. Very clean, the staff is welcoming and very helpfull about my each question. the breakfast is perfect and the yogurt taste is so yummy! If I come there again, I will absolutely stay there again! thank you for all.

MaltaThe mattress wasn’t very comfortable and the room was not done after the first night.
The property is very well kept and in a quite location. It’s ideal for a relaxing holiday but make sure you rent a car, as otherwise you are stuck. It is around 15 minutes away from Alberobello.

AustraliaNothing to dislike - a great experience - just a few minutes down the road from town centre - perfecto !!
Being 4kms from the centre of Alberobello was perfect for us - amongst 3-4 Trullo houses without the commercialism of the " tourist centre". A very relaxing, friendly, (more authentic stay - we hoped). Ariana was great - recommended a great restaurant in Albarabello - Puglianova !!! - it was the BEST - just, 2mins drive from the hustle of the town centre - make a reservation, it is very popular !!!

United KingdomIt was further from town than I realised which would have been a plus with a vehicle but I was using public transport. However it did not detract from a really lovely, positive stay.
Loved the setting, more rural, so peaceful, comfy outdoor seating, birds chirping, great to relax after a day out. Opportunity to chat with other guests Fantastic host in Ariana, who went out of her way to be helpful with taxi & bus transport, suggestions for restaurants & even a lift to the station when there were no taxis available. Breakfast al fresco with lovely fresh fruit & yoghurt & croissants etc. Attention to detail.

The breakfast was excellent, the location was picturesque and extremely quiet, making it a very romantic place to stay. The parking was very convenient, and it’s perfect for couples looking for a peaceful getaway. Our stay was well worth it, and we would definitely recommend staying here!

AustriaBeautiful Trullo and nice Family. It's small but that is what you get in an old building. I liked the location... walking distance to restaurants. Close enough to Alberobello but far enough to be very quiet

United StatesOur Trulli was really a little small for the amount and placement of furniture. There was almost no room to get around the bed to get to the bathroom. There also was not really a good spot to unpack and access your clothes, again because of the placement of the bed. To be fair, there was a lot of space dedicated to the kitchen that we did not need or use. We were also there 4 nights which was probably too long for the space.
The location was great and breakfast was nice but the same everyday. The sisters that ran the B&B were very lovely. The outside space was gorgeous and added to the available space but unfortunately while we were there the mosquitoes were out and biting.

United StatesAll was perfect!
Everything. Owner/operator family are so kind, hospitable & easy. They do what needs to be done and then get out of the way to let you enjoy your stay. I had the entire place to myself. Tranquil setting. Gourmet breakfast with fresh fruit salad, delicious homemade jams, fresh dairy croissants (Cornetta) & Foccaci Barinese & more. They just go all the way in making sure you feel special and care for. Suggested a few points of interest for me to explore beyond Alberobello which were wonderful. Just can’t thank them enough.

GermanyI loved everything about Trulli di Pastore and this is more of a recommendation to future guest than for the host. I'd recommend future guests to consider renting a car due to limited local transportation options.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the enchanting Trulli di Pastore through Airbnb, and it was an absolute gem of a find. This idyllic Trulli offered an unforgettable experience, made even more delightful by the host's exceptional hospitality. Right from the start, the host went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and hassle-free. As I didn't have a car, she generously offered to pick me up and drop me off at the town center, which was incredibly thoughtful and convenient. On one occasion when she was unavailable, she even arranged for her mother to pick me up – talk about going the extra mile to make her guests feel welcome! The Trulli itself was a dreamy oasis. The moment I stepped in, I was captivated by its rustic charm and cozy ambiance. Every nook and cranny exuded a sense of history and culture, making the stay all the more special. It was a fantastic escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The attention to detail did not go unnoticed. The host had thoughtfully equipped the Trulli with all the necessary amenities to ensure a comfortable stay. I was delighted to find coffee and tea refills available, which was a perfect way to start the mornings in this serene retreat. Fresh towels and toiletries were also provided, adding a touch of luxury to the experience. Throughout my stay, I felt like a cherished guest in the host's home. She was always available to offer recommendations and answer any questions I had about the area, making me feel right at home. Overall, my time at Trulli di Pastore was nothing short of delightful. The combination of a unique and authentic accommodation, the host's warm and accommodating nature, and the abundance of amenities made this experience one to cherish. If you're looking for a magical getaway in a traditional Trulli, with a host who genuinely cares about her guests' comfort, then look no further than Trulli di Pastore on Airbnb. I can't recommend it enough!
