We can wholeheartedly recommend this apartment if you stay in Matera. First of all, the hosts are so kind and lovely and helpful. The location is perfect right between the two Sassi close to il Duomo. The apartment is quirky and charming. The fridge was stocked with nice produce for breakfast. We arrived by car and the apartment is in a zone where only local cars can go but the hosts met us at a parking garage and drove our baggage close to the flat. All in all we had a lovely stay in beautiful Matera, much thanks to our hosts and the great apartment. It is your loss if you don't stay there.

The owner met us at a carpark and drove us into the centre of town where they guided us to our apartment near the Duomo. It was an excellent location and lovely to be greeted and they helped us with our luggage.

Tea and Martino are really nice host. They picked me up from the bus station and sent me to the bus station as well. The apartment is very conveniently located and well equipped. Especially the bed and the quilts are very comfortable.

Everything was perfect!

Tea and Martino were the most wonderful, warm and welcoming hosts. The communication was excellent and we were met on arrival where the taxi dropped us and helped with our luggage to our home for 5 nights. On departure, Martino again met us at the accommodation and drove us to the bus station. The home is beautifully furnished and decorated, and so comfortable and we felt so at home. It has all the facilities you need, and more, with food and drink treats which were so appreciated. We were given maps and information on places to go, and there were guidebooks available to read about this amazing town. The location of the home was fantastic, right in the heart of Matera, but so quiet and peaceful. One of the best places I have ever stayed in all my travels over many years. Hope to see you in Australia sometime for a visit Tea and Martino!

This place was fantastic! Nicely equipped and very clean. The host picked us up and dropped us off which is a huge benefit (most places do not do this). The location is central. The patio in front was also appreciated. I highly recommend it!

Everything. The location was wonderful. The apartment was a delight to live in, it was beautifully decorated and very comfortable.The breakfast provisions were so generous. Tea,our host, met us and helped us get safe parking, then helped us with our luggage through the cobbled streets, and drove us back to our car on departure…above and beyond expectations! Absolutely wonderful place to stay in a brilliant location. The apartment was immaculately clean; creatively furnished and very comfortable/roomy for 3 of us. All the facilities were excellent including the full kitchen, breakfast provisions and small touches - like the complementary wine & coffee supplies. Our host Tea (and her family) were so friendly and helpful - they do everything they can to make your stay so enjoyable (including helping us with car parking arrangements). Matera is a magical place in its own right and this apartment was the icing on the cake of a fantastic stay. We will be telling our friends.

Hosts Tea and Antonio met us at our parking station (which they had reserved for us) then drove us to the accommodation and explained all about the property. They gave us recommendations about where to eat and booked an English walking for us. They are exemplary hosts.

Great location in the center. Good breakfast provided. Very large and clean appartment. The children 5 and 7 loved the city, the caves and the birdwatching (many little kestrels).

We had to reset the hot water system as it kept cutting out and the wifi kept dropping out or was very weak when it was on.

The location was in the middle of both Sassis and about 100m to the Piazza Duomo. Tea was friendly and met us at the car park and took us in their car as close as possible to the apartment. There was a convenient store very close by. Continental breakfast was provided with generous amount of cheese, yoghurt and salami.
