How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.

The place is hot during the summer, it really needs air-conditioning and a fridge where you can store food, since there is Lidl nearby.
We loved Legnano, but it is far away from the Metro station, more than 20 minutes walk. The facility is very nice and comfortable, and the owner was very accommodating. It's also very clean and quiet.

The shower was clogged, the water passed slow. If there were a small fridge, it would be more convenient.
We had tea that was available at the apartment. The room was very spacious and we liked the balcony alot. The bathroom was also clean but we had problems with the shower. Overall nice experience.

Hard to answer
Very nice apartments in general, clean and comfortable, with all you need for stay. The host is very accommodating, he made sure my is going great keeping our chat open whole the days I stay there, and asking for feedback not for courtesy but for qucik improvement. Good connection to Milano by train, few restoraunts in walking distance, big free of charge public parking in front of building.

Very rude and noisy neighbors, no hairdryer, iron, refrigerator, dirty floor, broken shower. If you hope when you will be live in a private room, keep in mind that it might be mistake- you can feel that you live in a shared room, but that is a cheap price, and, you can accept that? may be..
Francesco was quite attentive, caring and always in touch. The very cute fan in the room, clean and comfortable bed, convenient wardrobe, nice furniture and well interior. Have a free coffee, water, candy, sоme dishes in the room, microwave.

What I don't was treatment for delayed time booking cancellation and till I have not got my refund yet, please! Help me get refund pay into account as soon as possible.

There was nothing we didn’t like — our stay was very pleasant.
Everything was as described in the listing. The host was very responsive and helpful. We had a small issue with the door, and he fixed it immediately. He regularly checked in to make sure everything was okay, which left a great impression on us.

we decided to visit milan but didn't want to stay there because we thought it might be noisy. i wouldn't say it's close to milan and easy to get to. now i realize it wasn't worth it. we work remotely. but when we got to this place we made a big mistake. the first night there was a party in the bar of the nearest building. they were screaming half the night. and all the other nights our neighbors were walking around and closing their doors too loudly. it was horrible, we couldn't sleep almost all night. we had to move to another place just to get some sleep before a long flight.

It was not understandable from the announcement that the kitchen is not available. It was on booking photoes and it was very unconvinient that no frige, no heater, no restaurants around.

The WiFi was sometimes very slow.
Comfortable, clean and spacious rooms, had everything we needed. Beautiful views and surrounding areas, various supermarkets and restaurants at walking distance. Convenient location to travel to and from Milan city centre using the public transport . The host and ladies who look after the apartment were very friendly and helpful,. Overall we had a fantastic stay and will definitely book again in the future.

Very tranquil with a lovely view. Convenient and comfortable. The room is very spacious and has a lovely balcony where one can just sit and take in the scenery. Well situated, bus and train can easily be accessed and not very far from a shopping center to get the necessities and also within walking distance to many, many food places. Ps.There is unlimited coffee. The shared bathroom was well equipped, neat and clean. Definitely a place/room that we will visit again when in the area.
