Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

It was the most wonderful experience I ever had I sat on this beautiful little deck and had a glass of wine in the warm sun facing beautiful boats and lively people and as the houseboat slowly docked back and forth my body relaxed for the first time in years. The stress was gone. It was very clean and cute with the decorations. Claudia the owner arrive the second d day with a beautiful slate try of Sardinia appetizer and she gave me a beautiful Sardinia bottle of wine. I want to co e back and stay for a couple of weeks Claudia

Great location near to old town. Extremely friendly and helpful owner - welcomed us with a platter and a bottle of wine. Easy parking a few meters away. Small but well planned accommodation with good aircon. Extremely clean. A little different to the norm but was worth it.

IrelandA bit noisy at times with the boatyard behind
Loved the location, close to the beach on one side and the old town on the other, the boat itself and the rooftop were fab. Very clean and organised. Claudia was great and met us with wine and tapas. She was fortunately able to accommodate a very late check out for an extra 50 euro!! I would definitely recommend houseboat seabreeze. Thanks again 🙏🏻

United KingdomWe loved it all, but of course it’s a houseboat so if you’re sensitive to swaying or the clanging of nearby boats, then you might not love it so much.
Seabreeze was a wonderful base for our visit to Alghero. It’s stylish, well appointed, comfortable and so very charming. Fabulous shower! There’s loads of space to hang out, 360 views and incredible sunsets. Claudia has thought of everything you might need from coffee pods, towels, toiletries and power adapters. Grazie Mille!

United StatesMy stay at Houseboat Seabreeze was exceptional and I must say one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. Claudia, the owner, was the best! She was kind enough to meet me at the bus and walk me to the boat, where she prepared a lovely little welcome package. She was always available for any questions I might have. The boat itself is fantastic! The bed is super comfy and the kitchen has all the amenities you could possible need. There is air conditioning as well. The shower pressure is strong and and the temperature perfect. My favorite part of the houseboat was the upstairs roof deck, where I sat with my nightly bottle of Prosecco and watched the gorgeous sunset. I also enjoyed the front deck of the boat, where I would have my breakfast and talk to my "neighbors" as they strolled the dock. It was such a nice community of boaters! In terms of location, I am a single traveler without a car and I really didn't need one. I walked to Old Town every night for dinner and cocktails, which is such an historic cobble stoned ancient town. I walked to the beach or I took the beach bus to reach beaches further down the coast. It was perfect. I stayed ten days alone on the houseboat and I must say I could have stayed a month....or longer. It was such a beautiful experience. I look forward to returning to Alghero, Sardinia and staying on Houseboat Seabreeze. It is a memorable experience for sure.

Wonderful experience on Houseboat Seabreeze. Warmful welcome by Claudia, who explained us the organization inside the boat. It is a tiny place but everything is so well organized ! Perfect for a couple. Beds are very confortable. Nice sunbeds on the rooftop. The beach and the old city are just 10 min walking. Plus the free parking 20m away from the boat ! It was a fantastic experience.

The host Claudia was brilliant, she came to meet us, showed us how everything worked, the coffee machine is nice touch, the houseboat isn't very big, but there is still room to stay comfortably for a few weeks, the bathroom was a lot bigger than we expected, the shower is very powerful, it has been the best place we've stayed, if you like being on the water, this is the best place, we will definitely be back, there is nothing not to like, a 10 min walk to the town and beach, you can lie on the top of the houseboat, which has amazing views over the sea and town. All in all we've had the best time ever, thank you to Claudia for looking after us Xxx 😊

Such a fun place to stay! we loved our 5 nights on Seabreeze and would definitely do it all again. The kitchen was well enough equipped to make breakfast (ate out in the evenings) and morning brews on the water, in the sun was the nicest a way to wake up. bed was really comfortable and there is room for 2. option to sleep on lounge but we didn’t need it. Great location. A 10-15 min harbour side walk to the old town. was interesting to stay on a working harbour and watch the coming and goings. Claudia was great with contact and made some excellent recommendations for restaurants and things to do. Houseboat was very clean and modern. space is used really well! Shower was hot with great pressure.
