We are both over 6 feet tall. The bathroom was a bit small for us. There were stairs, but we knew that going in, and it was still worth it to us. Would not be good for mobility issues.

Good location. Close to many of the attractions. We are older, so we took taxis at around 17-22 Euros per trip. The bus and metro are also a .2 miles walk, for better prices. Nicely appointed kitchen for our needs. Outdoor dining options, and grocery shop close by. Clean, and comfy beds. A good value. The host was very quick to answer any questions.

Area is noisy. Owner cannot prevent this. There is a bar downstairs and the stone walls funnel noise up, so it was like there was a frat party in our unit until 2am most nights. When parties ended, then the garbage trucks started an hour later. Bring noise cancelling headphones for sleeping and you’ll be great.

Very comfortable bed, nicely appointed vacation kitchen, excellent water pressure in shower. Good location between train and Roman Forum.

The bed could be upgraded and the shower we were careful about where it sprayed and didn’t take long showers and there was still water on the floor. Not a lot but enough. It could use a few repairs to make it really nice.

The location was amazing and there are lots of restaurants really close.

Lots of things didn't work that well in the apartment. The airconditioner leaked water for our whole stay, meaning we had to use extra towels to mop up a huge puddle of water each day. The shower also leaked and the blinds fell down one night. I know it's a very old apartment in a very old street in a very old city, but some basic repairs need to be done to justify the price.

Great location, very close to the colosseum and lots of good sights and restaurants etc. Hosts were very easy to communicate with.

The stairs to the apartment, but you cannot do anything about that!! The bathroom is very crammed and the shower cubicle difficult to get in and out of - very small. The toilet was a nightmare to flush. We told Marco about this problem. When we arrived the kitchen still had crumbs on the bench. This applies to all accommodation we have stayed at - please have a drying rack and some pegs!!

The position of this apartment is exceptional. Easy walking to the Colosseum and other major attractions. Marco was extremely helpful booking taxis for us. We loved the little market a few doors from the apartment and the pasta restaurant on the same street - Maximo is the owner. A wonderful way to finish our time in Roma.

Location is brilliant...just perfect. Place seems small at first but it has everything you need and is comfy...love the street.... .. Read reviews about noise from the street... we never had anything like that.. really quiet. Definitely use this place again Location!!!!!!!!

One night I was waken up at 2 a.m by an American who was shouting he was from Oregon, which is great for him but has no interest for us. The street where the appartment is situated is usually quiet but as American tourists are everywhere in Rome, it is hard to avoid their noisy manners... We also had a neighbor ( another client of House & Colosseum) that might be Swiss or Dutch, he would open the door everytime we were getting to the apartment to simply say "quiet please, thank you" and close the door without waiting for an answer or an apology... So if he reads me, here is my apology : Sorry man, I have a baby, really sorry for having him with me, next time call the police and tell them also to do something about those tourists from Oregon... Anyway, these were minor problems, that we really took them with the smile...

Great host, responded to our questions very quickly and with a great state of mind, trying to help. Location is excellent, very close to Colosseum. The appartment is cute, very lovely and comfortable.

The air con is not good enough and really loud The matresses were so- so, made my back hurt The stairs are steep-people wih knee problems will have a problem with them.

We liked the location, the house itself and the vibe of the area.quiet yet central with good vibes day and night. The room itself is beautiful, the alley view is roma all the way, and the beams on the ceiling are amazing.

The location to be expected was very noisy which we didn’t mind, but if you need peace and quiet at night this is not the place for you.

It was all about the location which was excellent and staying in older area of Rome. Host was great with communication.

Isolation of the room wasn't the best. We could hear every step of the above floor during the night. It's like someone else is with you in the room.

Location is in the very heart of the colosseum, walking distance to so many historical places as well. Clean and cosy.

The furnishing is a bit dated but still ok. The aparment is not too big for 4 persons but served us well with kids of 9 and 11.

Very helpful host, check-in and check-out went smoothly. Great location! The Colosseum just 5-10 minutes, all the main sites within 10-30 minutes walking. There is a small market just a few steps away and we found the perfect breakfast place within 5 minutes walking. The beds were comfortable.

It did not reduce how nice the place was, but know that you will hear street and bar noise but it ends about 23 or 24:00. We enjoyed the sounds!

The host sent VERY detailed instructions with pictures that made getting into the apartment super easy. The apartment was compact and efficient with every thing that was needed. The location was great, step out the door and Roman ruins are right there! Metro is easy to get to but you can walk to most everything you need.

Pillows too fat & bouncy. Had to roll up a towel for a pillow. Kitchen small & skimpy. Only useful for simple breakfast.

Nice artwork, clean, location in Monti district. Only 1 flight of stairs to climb. 2 windows made apt bright enuf.
