Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

BulgariaA small thing - it would be good to have towel racks in the bathroom. A bit expensive
Perfect location (more than 10 :-), 2 mins from Fontana di Trevi, the most beautiful fountain. The hotel is situated at via del Tritone, one of the central big streets, very safe. It is in the middle of everything, short walking distance to Piazza di Spagna, piazza Navona, few minutes to via del Corso, 20 mins to Piazza di Venezia, 35-40 mins to Vatican city/piazza di San Pietro. Very polite staff, ready to help and answer all your questions, 24 h reception. The hotel offers really great breakfast, various and delicious-few types of bread, few types of cheese, prosciuto, salami, mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, olives, cucumbers, yogurt, several types of jam, cakes, croissants, pastries, fruits, etc. The breakfast room is on the 5tth floor with view. There is elevator. There is a restaurant, just next to the hotel's door and you can choose between many other places to eat and drink in the area., The room was good with very comfortable beds. Clean bathroom, and is like most in Italy, i.e. not very big, but it wasn't uncomfortable.

United KingdomI feel we got what we payed for. Great location for all the main attractions. Hotel very helpful with local restaurant recommendations . Breakfast brilliant.
No aircon available as it was early in the season. If we opened the window it was just a bit noisy with service traffic late in the night ( street cleaning and dustbin collection. The city is beautiful and clean

United KingdomThe shower cubicle was a bit small.
We were upgraded to a room with a super-king bed, which was ideal. The room was very clean. The bathroom was well equipped although the shower cubicle was a bit tight for my husband. There was no space in the room for a chair/sofa but we were only in the room to sleep, so that was fine. The 5th floor breakfast area was delightful, with roof-top views. The breakfast offered was excellent with a wide range of food and drink available. The staff were efficient and courteous. The location of the hotel was great; just a couple of streets away from the Trevi Fountain and we managed to walk everywhere we wanted to visit quite easily.

The staff is courteous and genuinely wants you to enjoy your stay at the hotel. The rooms are clean. The breakfast is standard. The location is excellent – 10+.

United KingdomWe had booked a superior room as my understanding was that the superior rooms had been recently renovated, however, ours had not, which was a little disappointing. The walls and furniture were quite worn and scuffed and it was probably in need of a revamp. That is really the only complaint we had. I would stay again though it would probably be my second hotel choice in Rome.
Other than being on a main road which can make it a little noisy the location is great! So close to the Trevi fountain and Spanish Steps, easy to get to all other attractions. Reception staff were very friendly, breakfast was good, room was a decent size for a city centre hotel room, bed was comfortable.

Danielle is a total professional and very courteous, along with another gentleman (don’t know his name, but he escorted us to our room and to our taxi when we left). The staff is very friendly and they really made us feel welcomed there was construction as the place is renovating. Noisy in the morning but it was fine, it was like alarm clock.
