The location isn't ideal being far away from city center, however there is a bus stop and tram that is only about a 3 minute walk away.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were great and even had a balcony.

Air con was poor, room was very noisy early mornings with people walking past- thin walls, so was woken 0600 daily. Windows were open when we got in and every day so there were mosquitos in the room- probably because the air con wasn’t doing its job

It would have been nice to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room or common lounge/dining room.

The hotel was located within walking distance to the main train station with good public transport nearby. Although there is a tram and bus for people who may find the 1.3km walk too far. The room was clean and comfortable and there were no noises from outside even being on a busy road. It was easy to get to all the main site seeing attractions.

It was quite a distance from the centre of Florence. Not on public transport run, you need to walk or taxi back into centre. We like to walk, it took 25 to 30 mins each way. A little wary walking back at night. You need to order your breakfast 24 hours before.

The hotel has a certain charm to it. It is a very old building with a very pleasant host. The room was large and it was clean.

Shower was small, a larger person would struggle to use it. Road noise is quite bad, had to keep the windows shut all the time, but they did a good job of keeping it quieter.

Owner was very friendly and welcoming, told us anything we wanted to know and offered to hold our bags after check-out. Wi-Fi worked very. Bed was comfy and room was clean and cool.

The mattress was uncomfortable, everything else was ok.

Great location for walking to the city, we parked right next to the hotel on the street, but there is also a parking garage nearby (24 euros/day). The staff was friendly, the room was clean. I recommend.

Very early check out.far from city center 30 minutes walk from piazza del duomo.they dont let me use the bathroom before check in.

The location was fairly far from the city center, and was in an area that didn't feel very safe to me. I didn't hand any issues, but was on guard the entire time I was coming and going. The walls of the rooms are fairly thin as well. That didn't bother me too much, but is something to note

The hotel was secure, clean and the room was very nice. Traveling alone, I felt safe inside. I was also able to store my luggage before and after my stay for a few hours while I explored outside checkin times. The owner was very kind and helpful

The towels provided in the bathroom were very thin, so it's hard to dry off.

Contrary to some of the comments the location was good and appeared safe. The hotel feels more like a bed and breakfast. Our host was friendly and the room was very spacious and clean. There are some stricter rules than usual in the hotel which are explicitly mentioned on various signs. Not quite the standard experience for a hotel but I guess since it's a small place. It was OK with me.
