We loved this hotel! The staff were super helpful, the location was fantastic. The room was very clean and spacious. Bicycle hire was a great way to explore the walls of the city. Lots of restaurants close by. We would stay here again!

Yellow jackets were alot outside - consider hanging some bug catchers on the outside deck. Idea of a hot tub was nice but it was not private being on the deck where breakfast was served.

Staff was very accommodating! Free bikes were a nice added touch.

Very convenient place inside the walls of Lucca. We arrived with quite a large car and were worried about making the tight turn into the gates and small car park so we were delighted to find there was valet parking

I was pleasantly surprised as I booked it last minute. It was in a perfect location. The person at the front desk was very helpful in getting my bike secured. She even showed me how to work the key fob for my room which I was having difficulty with. The happy hour was perfect. Breakfast was an added bonus.

We have stayed here before but this time we were in the annex which didn’t have the same feeling as being in the main hotel. The pillows were very hard so it was not the best night’s sleep and the view from the window was onto a street at street level so we had to keep our curtains closed. I do not think it was good value for money as we paid more for this room compared to other rooms in the hotel and other hotels in the city.

The location is perfect, within the city walls and walking distance to all you would want to see. Breakfast is good, varied and plentiful and you can take it on the terrace. The free drinks from noon are really handy when you return from shopping. The superior double room was spacious and clean with bath robes as well as towels. The staff are very friendly and helpful and you can leave luggage at check in and check out until you want to leave Lucca.

The staff at the hotel were friendly, helpful and professional. The hotel was in a great location, and it is a short walk to the train station. The hotel is clean and modern, and maintained very well. Breakfast was delicious, there was a selection a lovely pastries, hams and cheeses, cereals, fruits and lots of breads. The free prosecco from 5-7pm was a lovely touch!

A perfect stay in this beautiful, well-situated hotel, where the Claudia and the other staff took care of all our questions: where to eat (they made a reservation), how to park, how to get tickets for the Puccini concert (they sell them at the reception). Our breakfast was tasty and leisurely. Highly recommended

One tiny thing: no iron in the room BUT an iron was available in the Laundry Room.

The staff were absolutely lovely. They were so helpful with every single request! Nothing was too much trouble. They organised our taxis for us to a very remote location in the Tuscan Hills! All the staff spoke fabulous English. They served a beautiful breakfast every day which was free. I cannot recommend it highly enough. If they had irons in the room I would give it ten stars! It was an absolute pleasure so stay there. We will definitely return - maybe even this year! It was TOTALLY FABULOUS

Loved that it was within the walled part of lucca and only a short walk from its centre. At night time it was very quite. The hotel offers bikes for free which we used to cycle around the top of the walls. Lots of lovely little places to eat. The hotel offers breakfast which was lovely and the staff were very attentive.

The parking was a bit expensive, but easy access to our car and given the fact that it was within the city walls and the hotel tariff was very reasonable, we were happy to pay.

Great position within the walled city of Lucca, we originally booked one night in tower (beautiful room) but loved Lucca so much we decided to stay an extra couple of days. The tower room was pre booked but we were effortlessly moved by lovely staff into the main part of the hotel. A very enjoyable part of our stay was the free cake and coffee offered each afternoon, followed by beer and Prosecco at 5.00pm. The breakfast was also very nice and the waitresses were extremely cheerful and efficient. Nice toiletries and a comfortable bed, we would love to return to this hotel.

The only downside: a green light in the room was too bright, even after the housekeeping had covered it up, it was shining through...

Staff was enourmously friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the afternoon drinks, snacks, and later prosecco time!
