for a vit longer stay some chairs and a bit more space would be appreciated. Also there have been some signs of "flooding" on the walls and a bit of humid smell, which might be normal for Venice, i guess.

Location was good, easy find. Overall for one night stay this place served it's purpose Also staff is very friendly - this is what made this place a bit special for us.

The location is excellent, walkable to any of the main attractions of Venezia. The room was comfortable, with air conditioner. The self check-in was really easy and helps a lot to make everything quickly.

Not sure if there was an elevator but only used stairs, very steep. We had only carry ons so not bad for us but I can see it being hard with a lot of luggage.

Extremely noicy aircon, Air plugs absolutely necessary. Lots of stairs, incl for luggage room.

Beds comfy, bathroom clean and sufficient. Nice shady outdoor patio. Many restaurants close by (+ roof top at Carlton for sunset). Locationwise close to bus station, train station and vaporettis/boats. Few minutes down to boat stop for 2 stops (€30 for 24 hrs pass og €10 for o/w) to airport bus or going down to San Marco. Very helpful staff, though only present 07-11ish.

Locanda Herion is a good option if you're looking for a basic place to stay for a night in Venice. It's conveniently located, not too far from the train station, which made getting around easier. The room was simple and had what we needed for a short stay. While the facilities and cleanliness could be improved, it served its purpose for a quick stopover in the city.

Apartments are really tiny. Small room with one bed and wardrobe, bathroom was very very tiny (but I guess it’s pretty common in Venice). No extra facilities: only 1 small soap in the bathroom.

There was a single power point (outside the one in the bathroom), not ideal for a room with 4 people staying in it. And one of the windows had no blinds or shutters so there was a LOT of light at 5:30am. Certainly blinds or curtains on the windows is normally a basic expectation for a hotel or guest house.

There was nowhere to dry our towels, so we had to hang them wherever we could in the room near the heating. The bathroom was a bit cold and we couldn't adjust the heating. A tip: Don't put the toilet brush just below the toilet paper, it's unhealthy and disgusting.

Exceptional location, near the train station and next to the waterbus station. Lots of shops, bars, and restaurants around. Relatively quiet area around the hotel. Spacious and quiet room. Exceptionally clean and the staff was really kind.

Very well located, close to the train station and easy to walk from there as there is just one bridge to cross with your lugagge. Very clean and quiet at night.

My room although with e suite bathroom could possibly be a problem for older people in the evening in that the bathroom is down some stairs. Not ideal if one had to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night
