I found mattresses were bit tough for me, it was okay for my husband.

Location was very good, about 10 min. walk to Arena de Verona. Breakfast was very good, plenty of options.

The location is a bit far from the city center but walkable (15 minutes).

The bed was too hard for me (but that’s always a personal preference) and the bathroom was pretty sparse of toiletries - could have had a separate shampoo & conditioner and body lotion. A complimentary bottle of water would have also been a nice touch. Breakfast was decent but there was an extra charge if you wanted poached eggs and they turned the lights off in the area we were sitting when it was the end time which was unnecessary. They didn’t make our table aware when they were closing the buffet - albeit I heard them telling other tables and our waitress kindly still brought some fresh hot water to our table.

Lovely rooms - spacious and well decorated - friendly and helpful reception staff, and enjoyed using the spa facilities (these were at an additional charge but was a wonderfully relaxing 1.5 hours spent and even better as we had private use of the spa area)

It is a 15 minute walk from the centre which makes it difficult to pop back for a rest during the day. However it is closer to the train station which is a plus.

Very comfortable hotel. Rooms were well equipped and beds comfortable. Nice gym and outdoor space on 6th floor. Good breakfast each morning.

Big room, clean, nice and helpful staff, good located near railway station. Good WI-FI. Walkable distance from all city main attractions. Nice!

The bed was comfortable. The pillows aren’t the best but seems to be a difference between Italy and uk! Aircon great, curtains are ok. Tv has no smart features, again this is all around Italy but access to YouTube or Netflix would be helpful with kids

Being woken up at 8am by cleaners very noisy cleaning hall ways outside room and adjoining rooms. Maybe a little later would be better?

The so called suite room only comes with a bathtub and it’s extremely difficult and dangerous to climb in and out because it’s very slippery

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Hotel Gilberti. The staff were excellent - informative, welcoming and friendly. The facilities in the hotel were also excellent and it is in a great location in relation to the Arena, airport and local bus / rail transport etc. I would strongly recommend this hotel and look forward to another visit.
