The hotel is basically not ready for high temperature summer days. The fan is so slow and their is no AC. Its very very difficult to spend a night when the temperature is around 30 degrees C. Secondly, the road infront is very noisy. People rooming on scooters early in the morning and middle of the night. So, imagine a scenerio where the temperature is high, u can barely sleep and u open the balcony windows for air and than there is noise outside. It makes life miserable.

The location of the property is amazing. Especially the balconies facing the lake.

Perfect location, especially the view from the “lake view” rooms. However no AC and roll down curtains so once they were down, they had to go up in order to open the balcony door, a bit tedious. Shower head was not too clean. Otherwise no complaint. Super friendly staff and cheap hotel parking. Saturday market just on the street below.

Room, ok, was a bit outdated but I did not care. Bathroom ventilator was with a noise, a bit annoying but ok, when light switched off, it does not work. Same thing with sink - when water is running, also noise. Parking is extra money - but ok, on the street it also costs. I had to pay also for motorcycle, but ok.

Very nice staff - the owner was receptionist, answered all questions, smiled and so. Everything good. Room was nothing special, but had my expectations - big enough, clean, there was good big bed. Towels and toiletries included. Location in the very centre, next to the lake. I was with motorcycle and it was raining cats and dogs, I was not ready to stay in a tent in camping.

Naively we had thought this town was on Lake Como itself and assumed it would be easier to get to. We had to take a train and then a bus which did not run all that frequently. As such when we wanted to go into town but had missed the last morning bus we had a two hour wait to do so. Otherwise, it was a lovely hotel and I would go back and stay there again….. sadly the weather was very cold and rainy for the duration of our stay so we really didn’t enjoy our visit as much as we could have and there was no heat in the room given that this cold weather is atypical for this time of year.

The manager Pablo( or owner)?? was an absolute pleasure! He was helpful and had lots of good advice and suggestions regarding what to do in his small town. The location of the hotel is ideal as well…. if you want to stay in this town! Naively we had expected it to be a little more convenient to get to. The room itself was lovely with a fabulous little balcony overlooking the lake.

There is NO Air conditioning in the room! And no frigo bar! I usually do not consume the beverages from the fridge but I love my cold water! Please bring back frigobar and put AC. Just for clarification: the night was cool enough not to need AC but I am considering in returning to the city in the summer… and the lack of AC makes me wonder how will I survive the high temperatures! Thank you Also there was no shower but a bathtub! It is more practical to have a standing shower !!!

Breakfast was excellent! Variety and freshness! Loved the cappuccino! And the cheese! Love the view from the room! My room #14 offered two widowed and two balconies! Amazing! I really want to thank Pablo for his advice and great service! Give him a raise! :-)

Great morern and clean hotel with amazing lake views and pool. Very professional and helpful staff, provided us with space to store bikes within the hotel. Breakfasts were delicious, especially the coffee.

Breakfasts were poor, we bought a tomato and a cucumber in the store to complete the breakfast with something 'Wet' (The ladies who work there are nice) The pool was open until 7 p.m., which is not okay because it was so so hot, and when you came back from a day of sightseeing, we couldn't cool down. In addition, the jacuzzi was broken, so they informed us and throughout our stay it was not repaired 😮‍💨 We paid for it, but we couldn't use it. What a pity The rooms had no air conditioning, which was very inconvenient, there was a fan on the ceiling but it didn't give much.

Nothing we would change, everything was perfect.

We stumbled over the Hotel Europa as our previously booked hotel at Lake Como did not meet our expectations. We struck gold and could not have been happier when we arrived and were greeted by Pablo and his friendly team. The bedroom was spacious, clean with a large comfortable bed. The views from the balcony were breathtaking and spent many an evening watching the sunset. Pablo was extremely helpful, recommending some of the best restaurants in town. Swimming pool area very quiet and most days it was just us, sitting enjoying the sunshine and dips in the pool. We could not have asked for anything more and are already planning our return trip.

We were hoping for a kettle in the room to have some tea in the evening but otherwise all was good. A mini fridge would have been lovely too.

Room was overlooking the lake. It was clean and tidy every day. Breakfast was at an extra cost but good. Receptionists were very helpful with directions on where to catch the bus and restaurants in the vicinity.

Breakfast, really does not meet the expectations, for the paid price it is a very poor breakfast. Take better a coffee in any bar outside. Pay attention to hidden more-costs, in the internet offer the taxes are included, by checking our you need to pay.
