I have a herniated disc in my back and needed a location central to everything in Florence where I could walk and when I got tired to go back to the hotel. I treated myself for my birthday to the amazing view. The staff was welcoming and friendly. I checked out on my birthday and the Chef, before I got my taxi, brought me out a slice of cake and a candle and played happy birthday over the loudspeaker all the staff sang along. It was amazing and unexpected. During checkout for my birthday I was also gifted with biscotti and Italian sweet wine which was unexpected and very generous. The room was clean, and the air conditioning was literally a brush of the fresh air from the heat wave in August. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel although in the centre, because you take a lift to reach it gives you a lovely sense of privacy. The beauty of this is the hotel has exceptional views from the balconies. The hotel was extremely clean and the staff were all so friendly, and made sure to make every person staying comfortable. The unlimited coffee and tea was a wonderful bonus and the breakfast they put on was gorgeous when we tried it.

Loved the location, the style of the rooms, the staff, and the fact that there is free ice cream, treats like croissants and biscuits, and coffee available all day long. It was such a central location that we were able to come back and cool off before heading out again.

Very central. Close to the station and right outside the duomo. Staff were amazing. Mini bar was a reasonable price. Beautiful balcony in the bar to sit, drink & look at the duomo. We loved Leoni! We booked a partial view balcony room which was nice. Full view would be amazing but they were unsurprisimgly sold out when we went.

Hotel Duomo was a spectacular location to spend our days in Firenze! We appreciated the kind and responsive staff, who were always available to answer questions. Being able to walk out onto the Duomo piazza was perfect, it is a spectacular area and made the city easy to navigate on foot. We enjoyed our balcony, and the larger balcony for breakfast. The room was modern, with good AC, a large shower, and even storage for our suitcases. It was a spectacular stay!

The rooms were a bit dated and could use a refresh. The pictures of the hotel online didn't quite match what they look like in real life. That was disappointing but by far my biggest criticism is that it was very expensive--unnecessarily so given the conditions and look of the rooms and the hotel itself. The triple room we booked featured an extra bed that seemed more like a hospital bed and was not very comfortable. Had I known, I would have likely chosen a different place to stay.
