The room I was given was only 2 meters from the reception desk and the dining room was directly outside my door. Constant noise and definitely no sleeping in. It looked like the room was quickly set up for wheelchair/disability access which I did not need. The door frame was literally falling apart. The shower base was not tiled instead a non slip mat was placed on the shower base. There was mould growing on the shower head. I had to request a better pillow because each of the three in my room were hard and lumpy. Needless to say they all needed replacing.

It's a shame that the view from the window wasn't towards the city, but there were blinds. The bed is small, but sufficient for a room like this.

July 2025. It was just for one night. The room was quite small, but sufficient for an overnight stay. The hotel is located right next to the bus station. It is not far from the city center. There is a set of towels and fast internet. I was unable to attend breakfast, but the staff provided me with a packed lunch for the road.

The water heater in the shower wasn’t strong but it’s summer so I’m fine with it. In fact it was much needed hahahah.

I was given a room on the bottom floor right by the checkin desk; I overall felt safe but would’ve preferred to be placed upstairs and not essentially in the lobby of the hotel. The whole place smells mildly of smoke, especially the lobby, which is pretty typical for this area of sicily tbh, but if you’re not used to that it might be a surprise. Lobby is loud at breakfast time if you’re staying in the bottom room.

Room was clean throughout, easy check in and they let me check out on my own early in the morning. Super easy 1 min walk to train station across the street, trains passing nearby weren’t loud at all.

The room is basic, outdated and not perfectly clean. The shower reeked of bleach and there were a couple of ants in the bathroom.

The staff was very nice and the location is practical as it is in front of the train station, where there are also a few parking spaces. The bed was comfy and the breakfast was nice enough. It’s OK as a cheap option for one night stays.
